Australia has a 'funny' system re: bringing alcohol in :-)
There is a Duty Free shop between the plane and Customs.   :good2:
So, except for special items like Moosehead (really?),

Hope to see youse all soon :-)

Moosehead...ya...Harv asked me to bring him some Moosehead.....it's a gift and I would like to deliver......if I can.....I'm sure Harv would understand if I was not able to bring it....another option would be to get 1 six pack of bottles...pack them in my helmet inside my luggage  and hope to god they don't break.... :drinks: ...... :rofl2:

I sure am looking forward to stopping in to  Say Hello

For those of us here in the states, you may want to consider an international medical insurance plan.

I just purchased a policy from Frontier MedEx that covers motorcycle riding (called to verify).  $500,000 of medical coverage, $100 deductible and evacuation coverage back to the U.S.  Total cost was less than $70 for the trip.  Nice person on the phone said it covers visits to the doctor, prescriptions, ER visits, and so on.  They said as long as we're not racing and just touring, any accidents would be covered.

I went with the "TravelMed Choice" and added the "Sports Coverage".

Dunno if they cover our friends in Canada or not..

unfortunately......I will not be stopping in for a visit ..........I have changed my travel plans. I only go where I feel welcome...and you guys have .................well let me put it to you like this......if any one of you said you were coming her to Toronto for a visit......I would have made sure you knew you had a place to stay.......and a friend to show you around......but not one of you....except Craigo let me know that he was the slightest bit interested in getting together and showing me around. Pat was the only other member in the So Cal area that let me know I was welcome......!!!! because of that I have decided to extend my stay in Australia !!!!!! From the day I said I was coming......they have prepared a bike for me to ride....offered me a place to stay (room and board!!!!!!!!) and they are fighting over where to take me and what to show me........I only wish that everyone had the same class and grace that these fuckin Aussies !!!!!!!! It makes sense now why Klav goes so far out of his way to hook up with you guys in the states......birds of a feather flock together !!!! if that offends you Klavdy or any one else in southern California..........too bad..........I don't embrace your way of thinking !!!!

Kev, I hope you do get a chance to meet Klavdy. I think you would enjoy him, as I do....

True, he suffers no fools, and that's ok with me. His world experience gives him strong opinions and he says things that no longer offends me, because he says them out of honesty, logic and true conviction.

Klavdy says things that make me THINK.

Looking back thru my life, I notice that very few friends has challenged my thinking the way Klavdy has and I am very fortunate to call that big galoot my friend.

Pat, up until a year or two back, I used to think Klavdy's online persona was a put on (not helped by remaining nameless). For those of us who have never met him it is difficult to imagine someone like that for real.
I've always been curious about Klavdy and your opinion is the first I have ever read and the first to offer any insight other than the image he projects of himself. Interesting. He seems to revel in his bad boy image.

You, all I know is what I get from this board.
That is, you are a drunken fuckwit who babbles shit.

Cuts both ways, all we know of him is "what we get from this board" and that is not someone you would go out of your way to meet.
But, you've met him and assure us he's just a big loveable, cuddly, knuckle-dragger (see below) so I guess we'll have to trust you judgement.

Klavdy assured us recently he would say the same thing to someones face as he would online. In that case I can't see why Kev would want to line up for another round of abuse?

Pat, you and I have met individually, and we've both met Klavdy. I think you've nailed it.  He does not suffer (perceived) fools gladly, and says exactly what he thinks. Pulls no punches, yet has the rare ability to take a joke as well as deliver one. Usually bitingly and clever, nail-on-the-head. I like him. I like his presence here; it just adds more flavour (note the Anglican spelling) to this group of misfits/miscreants/misanthropes.
