Which one did you buy Darran, the one with the shiny fork legs or the other one. I've only ever seen you on your black one. Gee these builders must be raking the dough in, see something and go straight out and buy it.

Well you have got me thinking Darran, and I just found a booootiful '92 FJ1200 on Bike Sales, 36000kms only!, looks like mint cond, only thing is it is SA and they want $5200.00.  :shok:
Ummmm...I might have one a bit closer, and a bit cheaper cheaper. One side needs some scratches taken out is all....She got frightened & wet herself but only done 25ooo klms according to tha speedo!

Haha...Thanks Noel. I naturally thought it was a fellow countryman shit stirring all the tourists that drove by! (Don`t ask why I would be suspicious!)...Though that white belt did extend from directly behind the front legs to just in front of the back in our paddock from my sleepy memory. George
The tray on the trailer is 1200mm across and tapers in at the front . Centre to centre the front wheels are spaced 700mm.
This is LB's dirt 3x dirt bike trailer but it took quite a bit of juggling to position the 2 FJ's into the right spot.
We had to offset the 60mm front to rear.

Arnie
Danielle is happy to pillion along. Which is a good thing as I recall we hired a couple of scooters while holidaying in Yeppoon
and I had to retrieve hers out of a dam.

Yes Tony the one with the sticker on the screen. It was the quickest decision ever the boss gave the ok who was I to argue?

It needs tyres and the suspensions a bit tired. It had sat for 8 months so I drained the tank to find it didn't have a fuel pump.
That explains it breaking down at 5000RPM's. Put a pump in some new fuel and she purrs like a kitten.

Thank you Darran.  That helps me.  I have a trailer that is 1600mm wide on the tray/bed and 2046mm long and was wondering if 2 FJ's would fit.  I am also planning to offsetting the bikes.  I have one small handy cap as I have a side wall of 530mm but it looks like it will clear.

I will lay it out with 700mm spacing and see how she looks. The ramp is a wide 410mm. Thank you again your information it is very helpful.

Here is a picture of what I am working with.

Geez, George, that trailer looks more like it lives in your lounge room AND with a Pat/Leon level of detailing and polish.

This is a picture of my trailer (seriously) in it's current state. I throw a steel gate frame and a few planks in it for a floor. Trailers are not of my radar as things to spend money on or fuss over. One of the tyres I know is over 50 years old and other at least 40. I use it constantly for surprisingly heavy loads.

Maybe when there's nothing more to spend on the FJ........  Hmmm, I might have that trailer for a while yet.

movenon

Thanks but the trailer is outside covered with a tarp. That trailer is on it's second rebuild.  It gets used a lot by freinds, family and neighbors.  I built it around 10 years ago.
Your trailer needs some TLC for sure but I understand about time and money.

Bloody hell Noel, :shok: You'll get out of car one day to unload it and it'd just your drawbar there swinging in the breeze, the rest of it would've crumbled to bits along the road somewhere.

It won't be taking out you or your mates or relatives any time soon. I welded some gussets in it a ran another bead around the shackles a while back.
