Good call, it rained a full inch down here on Lake Erie already this morning, and hard also, no visibility.  The FJ's were happy in their dry garage.  Sorrry to say....

I do hope the 25th will suite you callender as with the rest of the group........weather or not.....Tiger...Grannyknot....Bob....and Jake would have been MIA's......anyway....and I am really hoping that the whole group can get together....I will let the others....like Zwartie....and Dan......and DB Cooper...know of the new date........cheers...and I hope the 25th will be the one....

One thing I would like to make clear about the 25th......is that everyone is welcome and I think it would be excellent to have everyone show........other notables.....would be Zwarts.....and DB Coop.........and Dan. Especially Dan.... there is a saying I like.........probably read it in the good book...." rebuke a fool and he will despise you....rebuke a wise man and he will love you".......what do you say Dan....we can have a few shots.....drink a few wobbly pops....throw on some Tull............and become good mates......if you think I was out of line with what I said....no problem....you can talk and I will listen.....then bury whatever proverbial hatchet exists and get on with the better business......like next years rally....and moding our rides...... :drinks:...this is a real olive branch here bro....take it.... :flag_of_truce:

I have no problem with you, I blame Paul for creating a false situation with regards to the NESR rally this year.  I cancelled the rally for the following reasons....
-Money was tight
-Family was visiting
-Tires are almost worn
-Concert @ my trailer park that weekend

Again I have no problem with you or you guys changing the plans for the rally weekend.  I just decided I wasn't gonna go this year.

If you have a spare bed for me on the BBQ night I will be there,  I'm gonna warn you though I like to drink, and I like to ride.  Not at the same time mind you.  A little herb in the late night is a bonus.  I hope you are not gonna quote the bible to me in the evening because I was brought up in a religous family and forced to go to church till the age of 16, and havent been back since.  Not that I dont believe in a higher power or anything I just dont like being preached at.  Its a personal matter between me and what I believe. 

So CanDman if you will have me I will be there.  Looking forward to meeting you.

Hey Dan.....nice to hear from you...I also look forward to meeting you....have for a while.....when you didn't reply to my invite for the 1st BBQ I threw....well...I guess I was pretty disappointed...and I had sent you a PM as well as an email ......for sure you can't blame Paul for that...my issue had nothing to do with not being able to attend....but more that you didn't respond..any way....lets save this for the 25th.....and we can put it all behind us and move forward. Paul has only ever had kind things to say about you and was quick to defend you when I posted my frustrations. I am not a pastor or a preacher......truth is ...I hate religion......religious people don't really care about others....... If someone asks me a question about anything... I am never afraid to answer. So you can relax....your parents didn't hire me to "bring you back into the fold"..... :dash1:...
 As far as sleeping arrangements....there are 2 fold outs in the basement and Grannyknot has one of them...Paul and Cathy have the spare bdrm....so you are more than welcome to take the other fold out......now if you would prefer.....to tent.....there are 120 acres here....2 cleared acres just around the house...so if you or anyone else want to bring a tent, you are more than welcome. I am very glad that  you can come Dan....I am also thinking about putting on a little drum concert....and Barrimore Barlow has to be one of my all time fav drummers.....wish I could play "Conundrum" a little better..lol ....so I may just have to fire up the stage lighting and the fog machines and play a few tunes... :yes:....cheers Dan-o......see you on the 25th...

Sorry I didn't reply to your PM, at the time I wasn't sure if I would be able to attend, and I've been at the trailer pretty much every day since school was let out (no internet) except to go to work.  I used to read the forums from work almost every day I was there but they have now blocked access to www.fjowners.com from my work place. (Guess I spent a little too much time on it).  I'm at the house now because of the recent rainy weather and the need to do laundry but will be going back to the trailer in the next day or two, so again I will disappear from the internet world for a while.

I haven't rode the FJ nearly as much as I would have liked to this summer, really only one good long ride this year.  It sat so long that I had to hook up the battery charger to it yesterday.

If I could use a cot/fold-out or even a empty space on the floor at your place for the BBQ that would be perfect.

 :hi: Hi all...just back from the 4,300 kilometer (2,700 miles), 40 hours round trip to Cape Breton Island. In between Cathy and I had a seven day blast...roll on next year for some of the same :good2:

BTW...in my humble opinion, Ginger Baker & Moon the Loon were by far the greatest rock drummers that the almighty ever put on this planet brother...just sayin' like :music:  :music:
