Sadly I will not be able to host the BBQ this Saturday or any time this year. I apologize to all of you who were planning to attend but unfortunately my desire to host another one this year will remain just that... a desire. Circumstances beyond my control have made it impossible for me to host it again this summer. From the first day that I became a member,it has always been my goal to become an active participant in this one in a million forum. I have made some truly good friends in here and hope to make many more. When Tiger first suggested an Ontario BBQ, I knew it was great idea and the start of something special. All winter long I was looking forward to getting back in the saddle and enjoying another season of riding and above all else.....getting together with the new and old Ontario FJ members .......sadly I have not ridden one kilometer on CanD this year or any other bike.....and it depresses me to know the season is winding down and CanD probably won't be ready until mid October. I am very happy to see the wonderful things Paul and John are doing to keep the Ontario torch lit...in spite of some pretty gnarly weather....I love reading and seeing the wonderful adventures the So Ont members are doing......I wanted so much to get everyone together and share stories...John....Paul.. Johnny and of course Ben and any other member with some yard to spin......what can I say........not to be mon cheri........Hopefully it will happen next year ...and I might have some tails of my own to share by then  .

Sorry to hear that Kev'. I didn't ride at all in 2008 or 2009 - forget which it was now. But never again will I let myself get into the circumstances where I couldn't even have the space to sort out the bike or afford to insure for a year (anyone in Ontario knows the challenge that presents). It's my sanity saver, after all. And I've got another friend in the same boat this year.
Things will swing the other way for you.

Hey Charlie, thanks for the encouragement....you were one guy I was looking forward to going for a ride with and catching up. When I get her back...I will definitely stretch her legs.....hopefully it won't be too late and we can yet go for a run...... you and me and anyone else interested......I will keep my fingers crossed.......

Ah that's a great shot of the Holy Grail !!! The greatest cup in professional sports.......and if you look closely....everyone who ever won the cup has their name engraved on it along with the team and the year they won !!!!
