Has this been a problem in the past? Slightly concerned...

"if everyone wants to cram in the same room"

"do we need hook up for them ?"

"i'm open to what the riders want."

"I will be able to guarantee the bone fire"

Yet more concerns... if you guys didn't have FJ's I'd be outright worried by now.

OK, now that is just funny. Let's just stay with a few brews and maybe some good old Kentucky bourbon. And no one will get hurt.  :drinks:

here is a nearby camp ground to check out

I think we're on the right track  with the cabin rental and tent site availability.   I called the campground site above--they only have one cabin for rent and one pop up trailer for rent.  I'll be looking too.  we'll find something.

these are a little further away, no motor home or camper hook up and i don't think any tent areas either

I filled out an 'event' search on a site called --Eventective--  for the Bethel Maine area.  Who knows, maybe something will come of it.  I made us out to be a group of fine upstanding individuals.

I'm finding some good deals (home/cottage/vacation chalet) rentals with space for up to 7   , but harder to find a place to accomodate 10 -20.

Not to try and move the rally to New Hampshire, but what about starting on the other side of the loop. Twin Mountain NH has a KOA with cabins. It is right new Mt Washington and we could run the same loop.

No toe stepping here, just trying to get my kookaloo on :good2:

Cheers,

Dan

i was thinking 3 nights and a 2 day ride.

That works for me.
I second that!
I have June 10 through June 19 scheduled off work, only the wedding anniversary in there to complicate things, anybody else have some guesstimates for when they can make it?

Travis398

i think later summer or early fall would be safer for plans. it rained up here the whole month of june last year, and a bit of july also.

captaudi, no toe stepping here you're just saying what everyone else is thinking.

i have seen the place at twin mountains, looks like it could work, in fact there is a lot of places around the white mountains.

Sounds good so far, but are forgetting/getting further away from the lobstah?  I was going to check with one of the (side of the road) seafood trucks to see if we could get a bulk rate on lobster and steamer clams.  However, we are now getting 4 hours plus away from the low cost, off the boat seafood.  My wife would be willing to make the run for us though.  Just a thought

Ummmm, we need to look at the  :diablo: rules  on these campsites.  I think we need one that would let us take over an area just for us.

its a bit of a haul but i noticed the koa in saco has a few cabins for rent, that would put us near the coast and a good ride towards the mountains
