Well, almost as fast as they arrived, they are gone...the crazy Canucks that is.

We got a decent ride in yesterday although the roads were mostly wet. Good count for a mid-week ride;12

We ate well and the poor guys are now ruined for riding anywhere else in the world after the California visit.

Guys, thanks for stopping by, it was great to meet each and everyone of you.

Home safe, my GPS said 5hrs 20 min from RPM to home, I did it in 4 hrs 30 min. not bad for 310 miles. I had a fantastic time meeting and putting faces to names. The roads were as fun as I remember, just a little wetter. Getting some work done on the bike with Robert and a few goodies from Randy's shelves was also treat. And I saved the shipping cost . Start making plans for the Renegade rally.

Was most excellent to meet the six Ontarionians (???) and what a great couple of days of riding!  Old friends in the group of twelve, new friends from Canada (is everyone from Canada awesome?), most excellent hospitality on Randy and Robert's part as per usual.   :good2:

I had an easy, twisty ride home up the 49 with the sun shining most of the way.  What a great two-day trip.

The Renegade rally was started some years ago by a few central CA FJowners in your nick O' the woods that felt one rally a year was not enough. So the Renegades that they are, held their own mini-rally. Not every year, but a small central CA rally is always fun. Last year was mid-September, Randy at RPM hosted the RR, it was really nice. We rode the great rides near RPM and ate as one group in his shop with roasted pig and way too much food to finish. Plenty of pics if you search for Renegade Rally.

Sorry for the lack updates.  :pardon:   Time flies when we're having fun.... and i ve been meaning to post up, but ... having just too much fun! :flag_of_truce:

Its been an awesome ride ! Lots of miles covered, dipped the toes into the pacific, unbelievable rides through the mountains, beautiful weather, a great ride on the Little Dragon,  an excellent visit with resident riders and Randy and Robert at RPM. A superb bunch of fellas! A great big thanks to Randy and Robert for sorting out my 88. Yep, those RPM valves and springs are SMOOTH.... love 'em. The vibranators work great too....  ... im slowly getting spoiled with the upgrades    :yahoo:

A couple pics:
Im sure there will be more to come...

Paul, you would have been happy with old sacked out original forks. The crap that Robert and Randy found on your forks was astounding bad. Astounding enough that I am surprised you did not fly fly off in a corner, only to be found later when the buzzards started circling above your position. I am guessing you are pleased with you new set set up?
