Great pics and great videos. Thanks for sharing the adventure. I'm not jealous at all - really!

OK, maybe a bit...

Sweet! Randy. Hard to believe how little other traffic you encountered. I'm only in about 3 videos though.

What is your mounting setup to get that view with the camera? I'm assuming it's a GoPro or similar.

Charlie

Well, we were out on a Thursday, so there was only local traffic.

I am using the GARMIN VIRB XE ACTION CAMERA.

The camera is mounted on the lower section of the windshield.

Just watching them now on the 55" LED.  Looks awesome. Killer jivin' toons too!  :music:

Is that Robin Trower on #24?  Who did the ethereal stuff on the other couple of ones?

I am not sure who the artists are, I just select the music that matches the video length. 99% of the music just seems to fit.

Steve, I am still trying to figure out all of the options of the camera. I thought I figured out how to use the camera while being hooked up to the USB port and not have to worry about turning it off when I stop to not kill the battery. But, it was discovered when you do that, the interface connection the the GPS and the mapping feature is lost.

I have my GoPro mounted in the same place. I tried a lot of different positions originally so the camera was easily accessible but the footage was all wobbly from the vibration. Mounted just above the headlight is the best spot but makes it hard to reach when riding, you must have long arms Randy.

I did notice on some footage that the camera looks like it's moving around, how secure are the mounts on the Garmins.

Ribbert,

You said, "Tony, get yourself one of these."

Which of the myriad of tech toys you have there are you talking about?

Yes Noel--which one works better? The one with the yellow band or the one with the brown band?    Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

The brown one of course, it has double overhead brims.

Actually, I activate the camera through the GPS unit, except for the times I started it before flight.

The mount is very secure and has zero movement.

Can the suspension cause that?

Can the suspension cause that?

Possibly, but it almost seems more harmonic.

Not sure, as I move the camera around to different locations and settings we will see if that continues.

A remote would be handy Noel, but I've got the old school GoPros that don't have the wi-fi needed to use it.
