Hi all. Randy, I was trying to get into your website and set up an account. Every time I tried to input my email address it would tell me that there was already one in use. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe you could enlighten me, mind you that might be a bit difficult as I am just a truck driver( insert joke here). Thanks for any help Big R

Shoot me an email and I can see if we cant figure it out.

I just wanted to post up a few little tidbits that have come up recently.

As of 2013 I have been able to increase my buying power with a couple of vendors. With that news you will see the price dropping on items I receive from these vendors when applicable.

Today I was able to lower the price on several items, including the EBC 88 & 252 brake pads, valve cover gaskets and flat key ignition switch. As items are ordered when restocking I will be continually adjusting the pricing.

The FJowners Shim kit; I have the shim kit that I was able to obtain for "club" use. I am not exactly sure how we want to do this and I will make a separate post for suggestions.

The exhaust system is moving right along and it is now back in the hands of the manufacturer for some minor tweaks regarding fit & finish. Once everything is tweaked, the programming will be completed and I will be able to establish pricing for the unit. They said once the programming is complete I am looking at about a two week time frame to get them completed. It looks like there are going to be 3-4 muffler options for the system. You will have mufflers in Aluminum, Titanium and Carbon Fiber. The is also going to be a polished S/S megaphone muffler available as well. The prototype system that was a lot of bent tubing welded together and the aluminum muffler, which is the heaviest, weighed in at 9.5lbs. Once the system is single piece tubing the estimate weight will be 9 lbs. I am not sure yet of the weight difference of the other two lighter mufflers.

They are also designing a set of slip-on mufflers that will be a direct replacement for the stock cans.

Testing is continuing on the rear shock and right now weather is the biggest hurdle. The manufacture is currently working out the weight/spring combinations. I have the other items related to the shock ordered so they will be in my hands when I finally get to pull the trigger.

The fork brace...this has been a thorn in my side trying to get them done again. I was able to find a machine shop that seems to understand what I want and work with me for the best product I can have made. There have been a couple of design changes and I like them much better.

There are several other cool things that I am currently designing and exploring to keep the FJ current and to be able to supply the products you guys want & need.

Again, I know I have said it time & time again, but...

Without your support I would not be able to continue to supply, innovate & manufacture FJ parts, for that I thank each and every one of you.

My wife and I are looking forward to the upcoming WCR, meeting all the new people as well as seeing friends again.

Thanks again and I tip my hat to you :hi:, Randy - RPM

No, sorry no pictures of the system. I only took photos of the areas of concern and forwarded to manufacture.

Don't worry, it wont be long.

Randy just called this afternoon to say that he was getting my order together. Called to inform me he was one grommet short. I think that this was awesome. Most suppliers would just short ship you and not say anything. Thanks for the call Randy. Big R

A life has been well lived, if you have planted trees under who's shade you do not expect to sit.

I'm told I'm cynical, pessimistic and generally miserable. I say that I'm realistic! The fact that reality sucks is not my fault!

Well, it has been a while since I have posted any parts updates but things continue to grow. There have been dozens more of the O.E. Yamaha parts added to inventory such as fuel tank mounting hardware, oil level sight glass, master cylinder rebuild kits to recall a few from the top of my head.

I have been able to stock up on other items to ensure I have what you need when you need it.

I think I have finally found the new machine shop to handle all of my wants and desires for the FJ. There is a very strong rumor that the fork braces will be available again very soon. The machine shop and I have worked on some design changes to address the pinching of the fork tube issue that was present with the other brands of fork braces. They will again be available in both clear and black anodizing.

I have already sent in many other items I want to start manufacturing as well and as I can afford to make these items I will be bring them into production.

The testing of the exhaust system is completed, the final fitment issues are currently being addressed and once those are completed the system will head to the computer programmer and the RPM FJ exhaust system program will be written. Once that is done, we are only a week or two away for starting production.

As posted by Mike & David the shock testing is winding down and the beginning of production will be starting really soon. You can read about that topic here:
R.P.M. REAR SHOCK... Authorized...?
Totally Unauthorized Teaser for the RPM Shock

There are many things on the horizon and I have grand thoughts for some trick stuff coming down the pipe as well, but I just can't let the cat out of the bag.

Marsh is still working on the new website for the Renntec product line and hopefully that will be up and running shortly as well. If you need engine bars or racks for your other bikes, please let me know.

As the winter thaw is starting here in the US, the riding season is just around the corner and I am looking forward to a great season putting miles on the FJ.

Thank you, Randy - RPM

P.S. - Mark the dyno is on the list for this year, hopefully I can make it happen. I already bought the M/C tire machine & digital wheel balancer.
