Marsh
Kick Ass organization - as seems to be your norm.
I'll volunteer the 5th deposit if you still need it. (Soon as December gets here - that's only wednesday)
Anything special to do, or just stick it in the mail and call it good?
Andy

Thanks Andy!  I'm REALLY excited about this place - I think it will be phenomenal!

I'm still waiting to receive the contract in the mail (don't worry though - we are locked in for the place).  Once I receive it and sign it I'll get those who have volunteered to pony up the deposit the address to send it to and who to make the check out to.  Don't forget to sign up via the form!

Cool beans Marsh! Way to go laddie, you scored. If you need another deposit, give me a call.   Pat

Scored... this is a Grand Slam!!

This is cheaper than the KOA
We get 3 meals a day
Bathrooms down the hall
The roads will be at our doorstep

The only problem I see is that there is live stock on the grounds, so we are going to have to watch Kman 24/7

Seriously this should be a Great Rally.

Welcome to Amurka, Klavdy.  How long you been state-side?  I'd be keen to hear your impressions on how it rides, what you like/ don't like/ want to change etc, compared to the FJ.  Also, I wonder about your impressions on build quality and mechanical sustainability if you have the time and inclination...  I have been watching Aprilia with interest for some time.

On another note, do watch out for the pine cones; are you some kind of glutton for punishment heading to a place called "Lone Pine" (cone)? :)

Just asking...

Dan

Haha!

Fluffy seems to like it,I haven't even seen the damn thing yet, let alone ridden it.
He reckons it goes great, maybe he'll give us the down low.

Mechanically and fit/finish wise, they are a magnificent marque.
Ask Gazza.

I'd looked at all sorts of bikes, from hotted up 2nd Gen FZ1's to the Ducati Multistrada, read a lot of reviews and haunted various forums.

Always liked the cut of the Aprillia jib, so now I've got an inline four (my Aussie FJ) a triple in the Tiger 1050 and now a V-Twin Italian sports-bike.

I didn't want a full on race rep, too uncomfortable for long rides so the Aprillia Mille based Tuono got the nod.

The price was right and it had a lot of good mods, Sargeant seat, couple of common and niggling electrical faults permanently sorted,(after-market starter relay and a couple of connectors, bit like replacing the R/R on the FJ's)some other stuff like a Ti exhaust can, MRA touring screen etc.

It will score a few more bits and pieces, a Moto-Fizz tail bag,

HID lights, other bits 'n pieces.
