I'm planning on coming Friday. Depending on weather of course. I will leave work early so I can arrive at the campground during daylight and set up camp. Ride with everyone Saturday and head home on Sunday.

I'm in for ecfr '14!   Riding out early Wed am on the 17th from Richmond Va area.  My regular route, backroads more or less to Asheville, Smoky mtn expressway (74) and then either Robbinsville-Cherohala or Fontana-Deals Gap-360 to TPTN campground.

Anybody coming down Wed roughly that way contact me and maybe we can hook up along the way.

I'll be there.  Two of my knucklehead friends have dropped out a third is being slow to call me back, so he's suspect.  Anyway, I will be there if I have to be there by myself, damn it. I'll keep y'all posted.

although i will be arriving on tuesday, i have a couple days extra to kill before that, so will be taking a meandering route down to memphis on sunday to enjoy some smoked meats and blues; exploring some roads down there towards chattanooga and staying there monday night (accepting suggestions on where to eat and/or enjoy an evening there), and exploring more roads making my way up to tellico.  ping me if anyone will be in that area on those dates.

Carey, I think you missed the "enjoy" part...

Dean, Dave (Fazer/Ducati/GTS1000) lives in Memphis and may have some ideas, I'll ask him this week at work.  He plans to go up Monday or Tuesday from his mom's north of Atlanta.

I will be riding up from Birmingham Wednesday afternoon or Thursday.  I may try to bring another coworker on his V-Star.  He rode it 1,000 miles from Birmingham to Ft Dix for a job assignment last month, I think he'd appreciate the twisties and the campfire stuff.

Andrew has classes Thursday but may ride out from Raleigh Thursday night or Friday.  I'll have to ask if he's bringing the friend who is buying the Ninja.

We are all looking forward to it.

Dave (Fazer/Ducati/GTS1000) lives in Memphis...

Dave is quite conceivably the craziest dude I have had the pleasure to ride with...  Here's a little story I'll relate to back this assertion up.  So, his Fazer was leaking oil, badly...  So bad in fact, he needed to carry oil with him...  Worse, it was leaking directly onto the back tire!  So we're riding along and, the oil is being scrubbed +/- off the tread as he rode, or so was his logic...  So we get to a section that was about to become really twisty and he pulls over.  He nonchalantly pulls onto a grassy/ dirt patch and spins the back tire and rocks the bike side-to-side to scrub the side-walls, you see.  a few seconds later, he's ready to go...

To this day, I remember that with respect and a tad of residual fear for him...  All was well, any oil that may have been left made no difference to his great riding skills.  He's a good guy to boot.

Seems it'll be me and my Buddy Manoj (from India -Rides a 600 Bandit) coming down.  We will be arriving late Wednesday night (maybe more accurately described as early Thursday morning...) and staying in Cabin #3.

Getting excited!

sorry, i should have been more specific.  i have the memphis part of the trip covered, i know what ribs place i will be trying, and figure i'll find some blues on the road called "beale street".  ( ;  anyway, i was talking about suggestions in the chattanooga area.
