Jim, no Wee Strom with 300 LED lights this time?

I'm dying to see what you got that you are slowly turning into the UFO from "Close Encounters."

No the Dl1000 is gone. Great comfy bike that was good at everything but not great at anything if you get my point. It was time to strip her down and let her go.

Oh don't worry I was able to salvage some lights.

Jim,

There a set of SW Motech luggage racks for sale on ADV Rider.  Guy keeps bumping up the ad with no takers.  These racks are great if you have some Givi bags.

I actually took the vstrom Givi side racks and did some cutting and welding and could not be happier. Can't wait for you to see them. Rode to WV and back with the racks and no problems.

Hi folks,
I haven't been around much but was really hoping to make the Rally. Unfortunately it is not going to happen. I just called Wayne at the camp and released the cabin I had reserved. I wanted to let you all know in case anyone was looking for a bunk. My apologizes  for the short notice. I hope to be checking in more often here and will look for those photos and video's.
May the roads be dry and clear, and the campfire high and bright.

They won't be able to do anything about the weather, but I'm pretty sure that the "high and bright" part will be covered...
We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

I'll just head to where I hear that drum beating.
UPS just dropped off my RPM exhaust with the megaphone, just in time to install it before the rally.

Dean, Dave (Fazer/Ducati/GTS1000) lives in Memphis and may have some ideas, I'll ask him this week at work.  He plans to go up Monday or Tuesday from his mom's north of Atlanta.

Bikes loaded up, new RPM exhaust installed, even found time to "filetti proof" the kill switch.
Headed to Tellico...

Kookaloo and beyond!

Well, as much as this sucks, I'll not be coming down to the ECFR this year.  I am in Ludz, Poland through Thursday night, and I fly out to Texas Sunday so I can't get down to the rally and back (10.5 hours drive one way) with any sort of decent ride times.

I had REALLY been looking forward to attending.  I'll be there next year.

accordingly, cabin #3 is now available Wednesday to Saturday, I told Wayne that he could keep whatever I had already sent as a deposit, and he was cool with that.  I can't remember how much I sent him, (10%, 25%, 50%?  not sure) but if someone wants it you better call him quickly, he seems to think he'll rent it without issue.  Hell if you mention my name, he may put my deposit towards payment, in which case, you would officially owe me a beer. :)
