That's one of the reasons I took the pic of my StreetPilot with the 464 mph max speed on it.

It makes a very valid argument that GPS ain't always 100% accurate.  Usually, but not always.

plus... if its that stupid then im surprised you are reading it!!!! whatever, I don't really like to go to fast but I have gone fast enough. I do find it stupid when people fly past me on a bike 100mph plus in traffic. Here in Portland, Oregon thy have drags every Wednesday night at Portland International Raceway, I plan seeing what my bike can do there. its also a car and bike show, pretty cool. From experience (don't ask), you can not be given a ticket from what has been stored on a gps. if you could, then I there would be someone (or more people) getting a nice ticket for going  over 400mph. :good:

BTW,
not condoning going fast, but that was Brads brothers bike who had it for 8-9 years prio. just saying
remember what ASSUME means :blum2: (ass-u-me) hahaha  but I get what you guys are saying

Funny I find I ride faster on other peoples bikes I mean why put unnecessary stress on your own bike when you can wring the neck off somebody else's  :good2:

Well... After reading through this thread it seems like I have some catching up to do.

Actually I have hit the same speed range in my Buick T-Type through that same stretch of road. That road has a nice smooth section with real good visibility for several miles & almost begs you to open 'er up a bit. Nothing makes me feel more alive than the sensation of acceleration.  :music:

Haha. Well theoretically you have the same reaction time going 140mph as a drunk person going 50. Just food for thought

Yes, in my dreams... Got a bit sad when i woke up and realised that my FJ would struggel to reach 160, in current condition.
But fun anyway.

Done 140 with her.
That's track speed by the way..
Whant to check out my photos on the bike??
