i can only imagine the situation.... you want to stand the bike up and get away from the trailer but the trailer has pinned your hand (and the bars) so you couldnt.

quite a feat maintaining control under duress that Deano.

I would always rather be lucky than good but in this case it seems you had both (and the good Lord) on your side.

I second that... Think of the stories you can tell later, if you think my thumb looks bad you should seen the truck driver after I was done with him...

Deano, sure glad you survived the encounter. I can't imagine being pinned to a trailer at 65 being pushed left across two lanes. Great riding or good luck either way damn glad your still here brother...

Dean so glad it did not turn out worse. After reading this it's clear the LORD is watching over you today. How long before it heals. Did anybody get a plate number for that truck. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Do you think or know if the truck driver saw you?

Dean,

Glad you were able to type and tell us about this.

Any chance you got the number of the truck?

Keep on keeping on now.

thx for the kind wishes, folks.  hah,  no way did i get the tag on mr. semi.  i was too busy saying a few "thank you God"s.  and i don't think he knew what he did, but rather stopped when another motorist may have seen it and signaled him.

today was a beautiful day, for sure!
