Nice save Dean!  Luck was on your side today.  That and a whole lot of riding skill!  Way to keep your head and ride it out.  Most would have been flattened by that truck.

Glad you're still with us.

Thank God you survived Dean.
You ever read "God is my co-pilot"?

God was with you, there is no doubt, but your riding skills were there when you most needed them, too.

I'm just simply amazed....WOW!

Take care, and heal well, friend!

Someone sure was watching over you, but your instincts no doubt took over your fear in the moment...........Your reactions were perfect, and your experience played a part in your ability to tell us all about it............and maybe a little random luck played a part as well.

Sucks the truck driver didn't check on you.
He/She probably looked back, and saw you were upright, and figured no harm done...........

I'm glad you're still here, and look forward to hearing the story at a future rally campfire........Heal fast!

Holy crap!   Great job not losing your head in the heat of battle and making a bad situation worse.

Your guardian angel put in a bit of extra effort today!

:empathy2: Oh My F###ing God Father Dean you are one lucky SOB and a dam good rider I would've been a statistic!!
That's the trouble all to often people don't bother to look before turning or changing lanes and in cars its bad enough but when some dim witted tool does it in a truck cause their too busy doing their best impersonations of Smokey and the Bandit on their 2way, cell ph it's especially bad!!   :ireful:

Really glad you are still here to tell us about it another story for the camp fire  :good2:

Holy Shit, Dean!  The Reaper was tugging at your Stich and you slipped away.

Glad to hear you physical damage was minimal.  Assume you threw those drawers away when you got home.

Thx, peeps.

Pat,

See the dr on Monday to have stitches taken out, but I'm assuming no damage internally, as I have good movement of my thumb and no tingling.  Well, maybe just a little bit when I think of your well-coiffed hair.  That kinda gets me tingly all over...

Dean hand looks good considering what happened. Glad to hear it doesn't sound like internal damage. Please keep us informed. Hope you are back on two wheels soon.
