No manual other than what I look up on-line.  The hole your talking about is a chunk missing from when the chain broke.  I'm not to that part yet :music:

Alright thanks for the info, Guess I'll be picking up a magnet.  Wanted to make sure there wasn't a pesky spring or a bottomless hole to drop the ball in.

This is all very good sensible advice and should be followed, what the rest of us do is

1) forget that the clutch master is off the bike
2) start the motor
3) watch the rod, ball bearing and copious amount of oil spew everywhere

From what I can see you have several advantages you have a new ball bearing and rod so you don't need to find the old ones wherever they went

and

apparently you don't have a cat  :rofl2:

Following Step #2 will solve the problem of getting the clutch pushrod out, though the cat may indeed be in danger.

I have it on good authority that the ball bearing will not be lost.     :pardon:

Free is a good price. Repairs, not such a good price. Really looks like that case has had the schnitzel.  :wacko1:

Inside joke from an old posting related to the same problem.. Starting engine, blowing out the rod and oil into the unsuspecting cat... Helps if you put a dish of warm milk and tuna in just the right spot so the cat will stay put while you start the engine :)).
