Inside joke from an old posting related to the same problem.. Starting engine, blowing out the rod and oil into the unsuspecting cat... Helps if you put a dish of warm milk and tuna in just the right spot so the cat will stay put while you start the engine :)).

Don't know about the cat but my border collie still hides for cover when I start my scooter (after the rod off my FJ shot out)
First major bike in my life was a Mach III widow maker.
My Second permanent bike 1978 Z1R (owned since Dec 1977)
My Third permanent bike is the 89 FJ12 - nice and fast
Forth bike 89 FJ12 my totally standard workhorse
81 GPZ1100 hybrid - what a bike, built to sell but I can't part with it

UPDATE:  It's still stuck in there.  I have tried JB Welding a rod to it, superglueing rods to it,  I can't drill or weld to it.  Very frustrating  :dash1:

In about 30 minutes or so, you could pull the clutch cover off and get in there and remove it.    :yes:

just for the record. Boats.net does not have any clutch push rods. i tried to order 2. they are unavailable.

Call RPM he might have one laying around or go the  e bay route.
