what's the go with renting/hiring bikes in Calyforniay??

There are a few places in San Francisco, but I don't know where to rent an FJ...

These guys rent some fine hardware...  BMW, Ducati, etc.

Frank

That'd be a tough choice between the Tiger and the Adventure....

Dan

I dunno, Dan... I hear the later model Triumphs don't start reliably.    :unknown:

BTW, I will bring TWO bottles of Bundy Rum  :wacko2:

You are now, my newest, best friend! :drinks: :wacko1: :yahoo:

Hahaha...... Worked out years ago that Bundy is a favourite of our cousins across the water.
Went to a conference in Thailand & the USA contingent drank the two bottles of Bundy I took over. Mind you, they were a tad ordinary the next day  :hang1: :hang1:

Umm, you've not had Bundaberg Rum, you've only had that piss weak 20 % proof poofter water,

They call it "Royal Liqueur" because the target market is old queens,it's a pensioners tipple here in Australia, reserved for the elderly ,infirm and effeminate.

What you need is the real Aussie rum, Bundaberg O.P.

57.7 %,that'll put hair on yer chest.

Don't blame the Aussie stuff on that, I have not had the pleasure of its flavor or effects. But I am willing to try it one of these rally events.

Spot on Klavdy, but thought I might also take a bottle of Bundy OP Gold........... Now that is 1 smoooooth drop of the finest produce of Bundaberg.
Might see if we can fit some drop bears into the bags as well, just to protect the Bundy  :hi:

I have been following the posts and comments from the rally and it seems a great time is had by everyone with good people to meet and knowledge to be gained, but I must agree with FeralRdr, in that, who needs to travel half way cross the world or drive/ride for a couple of days to ride a hundred miles to a "titty bar".  What a waste of effort to whoever organised the rally.  I hope to have my FJ by the next WCR and would like to think that some decent rides were to be had instead.

Welcome C.D. Lady, I am catching up on posts and see that I missed offering you a greeting to this much refined and high class part of the FJ world. It seems that the West Coast is building up some steam and may expand to yet another rally but further South. And why not? We have a longer riding season, some really good roads and.... Just another reason to hang out with other FJowners around a campfire... Depending on your schedule we still have the Renegade rally coming up. I made last year and had a blast, a smaller group but full of quality rides and quality personalities... Cheers...

Picts, or you all stayed at a Holiday Inn and didn't venture far from the local 'Titty Bar".  Which there's nothing wrong with.  :hi:  It's just not a rally, but instead a ride to a titty bar. :dance2:  And... You can do that anytime.  :good:

Titty bar what titty bar I travelled a long way and I can assure you there were no Titty bars not on any ride that I was a part of    was too interested in riding with friends from last year, and I can assure you we definitely had loads of fun and enjoyed our lost ride on the Friday(same 4 lost together as last yr  ) and the very organised ride we had on Saturday
