Fluffy & I were among the first to arrive, we've spotted this bloke and waved, said G'day thinking he was one of us ,but it was just some random dude, he's probably still wondering why these blokes were gurning madly and flipping him off.

Oh, in the U.S,many people in Military are supposed to wear Hi-Vis whenever they ride so if you see someone wearing the stupid , useless crap it's more than likely not just a deluded fool or a lost Ullysean twonk like you'd see in Aus.

We've unloaded the bikes, settled into our luxury KOA Kabins and caught up with friends old and new, here's Paul and L.A Mike, both regular ralliers,

checked in with loved ones to tell them of safe arrivals,

hung out and caught up,

greeted more and more arrivals,

and got the wood ready for maniac Bean to cleanse with the fire of thermite!

This was the Thursday so you can see there was already a fair few FJer's there, and one of the beaut things is that you don't necessarily need to have an FJ,rock up on whatever you feel like,

We hung out, laughed, drank, laughed some more then went into town for a meal and more laughs,

Hi guys , just bought my first FJ, it's a 1991 1200 and I love it . I remember test riding one of these bikes  when they were first released   in the Uk some years ago . We were invited to test ride and give our  impression  of the bike , I remember being blown away with the overall performance of the FJ1200 . The bike I owned at the time was a Honda 900F2 but the FJ was and still is in a class of its own. I've put about 500ks on my FJ in the month I've been  riding it,  all short one hour trips . It's got 67000,ks on the clock and in good nick it was lying in a dealers window for 17 months only doing 88 ks in this time .I've just topped up the oil on it , when it was delivered the oil  level was spot on, so it has used some (advice welcome )the dealer gave me 3 months mechanical on it so trying to identify any future  expensive problems . Looking forward to chatting with everybody . John from Nz.   :hi:

Piss off out of here with yer poofy intro's, this is about the West Coast Rally.

Rightyo, now where were we?
That's right, gathering the blackmail evidence (Hi Jan!)

Just kidding, our maun Pat wouldn't eat that!

Back to the fray.

We hung at the KOA greeting friends new and old,

catching up on the news,

meeting mates we've known and ridden with at many a Rally,

and just generally having fun, there was labour to organise ,barges to be lifted, bales toted

so it's a good thing there were some right sturdy new chums there,

After kicking back at the KOA after the evening repast, it was up early the next day for the first of the organised rabbles rides,

I hope so...they were good btw.  I had BBQ sauce in my white whiskers for a couple of hours...of course no one at the table mentioned it...
I wondered why they were looking at me, elbowing each other and laughing....those rascals...

What a great time I had at the rally. One WCR get together a year is not enough....we need more!

I finally done it, I got to meet the most offensive person on the internet, the infamous Klavdy!
This is one of my most cherished pictures of the WCR.

Honestly, meeting the whole group from out west was a pleasure I hope to repeat again.

Thanks to everyone that helps make these great get togethers so enjoyable!

Hows about we have a Southern West Coast Fall Rally in September then?
Works for me, I'll bring more of that Papua New Guinea coffee.
