Tick..tock..tick..tock..

Weather forecast for Brian and I looks wet coming down.. yay..

Found the thermite.. this will be the third rally I've carried it to.. hopefully I don't have to bring it back.. damn stuff is heavy..

Thermite on an ammo dump.. sounds like fun!  More fun than tossing a 50rd box of .22 longs into a camp fire..

Oh.. speaking of K-man's "INFIDEL" shirt.. who do you think gave it to him???   :wacko2:

I still crack up thinking about the two Muslim bouncers at a pub in Sydney that wouldn't let us in because of that shirt.

Yes it was a good choice Bean!....... don't think I ever heard about the Sydney pub........ what happens in another state, stays in another state!

Be good Bean.... hope to see you next year either here or there.

Cheers

I got into Petaluma KOA around 8pm last night.
Got the FJ unloaded and hit the hay!

Today, the KOA is pretty quiet, so I'm going to do some site seeing in SF.
Check out the Golden Gate bridge and Lumbard Street.

Hey Leon, see if you can get down to the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nice roads and big redwoods out that way. Just be careful for the cops with radar guns.
Or, in the other direction is Point Reyes. Both are nice.

Hope all of you guys have a safe and fantastic weekend.  :good2:

Leon-

If you can, see about taking a walk through Muir Woods, (a few bucks to get in) or another of the free groves of Redwoods that are interspersed across that area.  The redwoods are stunningly large and spiritual in their own way.  In my mind WELL worth working into an agenda while there, sometime before you leave.  I can assure you there is absolutely NOTHING like these trees in Iowa.  (They can survive forest fires!!) -Muir is just twelve really fun twisty miles across the Golden Gate bridge....

Have fun

Been to that exact spot on a rented WeeStrom.  Have a pic of my buddy with that island in the background, as a 'hat'....

The Lost Coast... The section of Hwy 1 from the Hwy 101 in Leggett (inland) to the coast should be dubbed FJ1. The funnest twistyist road of the trip. 26 miles of fabulous.  :nyam2:

Stopped in Fort Bragg, saw the Star Wars movie (very good) and Petaluma tomorrow!  :good2:
