Ok got a few things done to the bike this week.Ordered a few things and said today i will take the bike out for a nice little ride since i had not gone any distance on it yet.Thought i would go for a good 30 mile ride and get the fell of it and enjoy it.crusing along at 50+ and loving the ride a guy turning left decided i will make my turn i didn't see that bike there. When he made that turn eveything went into slow motion. With him in front of me i swerved to the left thank god no one was coming behind him.He pulled over .Came over to me and was very apoligetic said he did not see me and was answering his sons text message.I ended up in the grass but didn't go down.Iam sure this has happened to others here.Iwas shaking like a leaf for a while but finished the ride love the bike even more now.It just reminded me to always stay alert. And expect the unexpected..

Good thing, you were alert and able to avoid the moron's inattentiveness. Texting and driving is BAD enough. Texting while going through a turn. Yes, he is a MORON.

If he had used his indicators you would have known he was about to turn!

So true. But like aviation fred said he was a moron..But i always feel when something like that happens and it turns to tradgedy its too late to say iam sorry..Because that won't bring anybody back..But as bike riders we know a split second can change our lives forever.Or worse end it..
