Great photos John, I agree that Z1000 is a pearler. One day hopefully I'll get down to have a look through Bathurst, been wanting to do that the last 30 years!

+1 Didn`t know you had another red & white over to Perth. Liked tha oddfellows pic esp...ummm sounds like snowys via Conrod straight next year.  :good2:

Picked up the YZR for a friend and took it to Perth where he now lives (FIFO worker). Arnie sure picked some great roads, although I still would like to know whose idea it was to pick a gravel road.
First major bike in my life was a Mach III widow maker.
My Second permanent bike 1978 Z1R (owned since Dec 1977)
My Third permanent bike is the 89 FJ12 - nice and fast
Forth bike 89 FJ12 my totally standard workhorse
81 GPZ1100 hybrid - what a bike, built to sell but I can't part with it

I thought there was something weird about that (I tried to read the town name on one of the buildings), I used ride past Gympie to Cairns, hem (maybe next ride). FYI my scooter is going beautiffffully, I now have a set of XJR13 carb with appropriate jets etc, I should have a new Marving pipe in two weeks, I'll let you know how it goes.

Arnie, I think your right that I can claim the credit for one of the gravel roads but not too sure who gets the credit (blame) for the other. Although, compared to the dirt track that I (and Harvy) took on the way home, they were Highways.

Hi Pete, great to hear from you. Actually speaking of roads Arnie and I had a goat track to Putty road (I think). It might've been made of tar, even the wombats wore work boots so their feet don't hurt over the pot holes  :sarcastic:. The only boring section was the Hume, I honestly don't know why anyone would use that road to commute from / to Melbourne.

Hi all Fellow FJer's finally got my computer back after the rally and what a great ride it was  :good: meeting all new people having a great time finding Bozo's wallet on the road (lucky) hitting good speed and fixed problem on the way. Spent the weekend at Bellingen then left and road to Lismore to visit my brother went to Nimben and other places stayed for 3 days then left for the trip home. !st stop was Port Macquarrie visited a old mate then left to head off and spend the night in Nabiac and went to the Motorcycle Museum before heading off Make a point in stopping there it's worth it. Thursday i left for Gosford to spend the night there and relax, by now the km's was starting to catch up with me. Friday left Gosford and started my trip home finally getting there and falling asleep for the weekend. 2700 Km's 8 days (337.5 K per day Average)

Good onya Wog. Great to hear from Ya. It truly was a momentus Aussie Rally, made even better by you being there. Pleased the front guard stayed together and so glad ya made it out of Nimben... but nice neck of the woods ay.  :drinks:

Careful your opening a can of worms, Tassie apparently was voted out by a large margin. The Generals 40:1 vote count must've put it over the line (joking ofcourse, please don't put a black star next to my name, again).
