Today has been interesting! At about 7:30 this morning I killed my nice new Arai helmet by smacking it on the street and stuffing it under a car, with my head inside it! I am beat up a bit, and my YZF has seen better days. Both hands are broken and some road rash, but that will all be fixed. PLEASE use your gear when you ride. My Arai saved my life today.
Ride Well,
Jon

Glad that you are relatively ok. The broken hand thing is going to be a bit of pain tho. Heal fast and get back on the road. Big R

Jon,
Best wishes for a speedy, and hopefully realtively pain-free recovery.  Both hands?  Can't even imagine.

Rest and Heal Jon. Thanks for checking in with a important reminder.
I can't imagine you typing, so you must have some fancy ass voice to text software running.
You work with your hands so I hope they heal quickly with full range of motion.

When you get a chance give us the details.   Is there anything we can do for you? Pat

Really sorry to read this Jon.  Here's to hoping you heal faster than you or the Dr's expect!

Blimey, thats not good.  Hope you feel better soon!

I cant imagine breaking both hands!  Not sure what would happen if i had both hands in a cast, well if im honest i know for sure what wouldnt happen!! The rate at which we get through tissue in our house would drop dramatically for a start.
Scratching my arse would no longer be a comforting experience and fishing the tv remote out from between the sofa cushions would become a significant challenge!!

Heres to a speedy recovery! :drinks:

Sorry to hear John. I had a near miss with a Tahoe last month up by deals gap. Still not sure how I kept the bike on 2 wheels after having both the front and the back brakes locked up at the same time. They saw me but decided they would pull out in front of me and try to take over the road. My air horn and flashing lights are no match for 4500lbs of steel. Time to mount some guns on the bike. Once your hands heal up we can start talking about fabricating up some mounts. Get well brother.
