if you can ship these items.........let me know what you want for them and the shipping cost for the fastest shipping here and I will take care of that....thx guys....I think we can do this.....Paul....since I will wait for the Jetting kit....it won't arrive until Tuesday...so shipping the coils and wires overnight should have them arrive at the same time....you guys are the best....thx

Ok....Bob....no worries.....Paul is sending me some used ones......apparently.....the engine is running strong....."the engine runs great !!!!" what is happening......once the engine gets hot........the circuit breaks and the coils ground out sending an intermitten signal to the TCI box which sends a broken signal to the Ignition coils. Once the bike starts...1 and 4 cylinder are cold for a bit...so it grunts its way up temperature.......if I am getting this right.......the older FJ's use a magnetic Field to regulate current and ignition.....and once one of the pickup coils becomes faulty...the heat creates resistance....causing a failure in the magnetic Field affecting the signal to the TCI box....and then to the ignition coils and on to the spark plugs....so I hope this info will be helpful down the road. I wish to thank everyone....Bob... Trav....Pat(Felix).... and Paul for all you great help and expert advice...see you all soon

On the first ride this spring my '86 started running on two cylinders. I also have Dyna coils, so that's were I went first. I swapped them side to side, but it was still the same cylinders not firing. I had a spare TCI box, so I tried it. Problem solved. That was a few thousand miles ago. I carry a spare now.
