ELIMINATOR

Some thingy drove into the back of me & my BMW 1150GS at about 30mph on a roundabout this morning.

Ambulance, police, hospital.

Muscle damage to right shoulder and left lower back.

My pride and joy looks sick. crash bars, rockerbox cover, indicator, spotlight. crashbars have hit the petrol tank.

More concerned the front and back mudguards now look off set. Got it in my head that something is twisted. Had another look, bike won't start! :'(

Carole Nash and their legal service already on the case.

My mobility is compromised, back is agony after sitting a while and trying to move.

Crap!  Glad you're around to tell the tale!

Sounds like everything can be repaired - rider and bike both (probably quicker and easier to fix the bike!).

No start issue - do those BMWs have a tip over switch?  Could be stuck after the spill.

Good luck and speedy recovery

Arnie

Sorry to read this.  Hope you get better quickly.

Someone who had moved the bike, had turned the kill switch off. But, when trying to start it sounds awful. :(

That really sucks
Having your pride & joy ruined is bad enough but it can be fixed/replaced.Having a stuffed back is worse  :ireful:. I hope you make a full recovery and Carole Nash take em to the cleaners!

Cheers  :drinks:

Stay rubber side down.

Harvy

Man, I sure hope you get better quick - what with summer coming on there in the UK - its riding time not R & R time.

Ditto for the bike..... hope the frames not too badly bent.

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

DB Cooper

That really sucks. I know it's hard not to worry about the bike, but concentrate on yourself first.

FJ11.5, I like the way you think!

Sorry to hear the news..... I am always paranoid about the idiots we have the share the road with for this exact reason. I swear i look behind me more than i do in front of me whenever i'm riding in town.

Bikes can be repaired/replaced...not so easy with a friend..... take care and heal well mate  :good2:

Kookaloo!
