No worries Mark!  I didn't mean to be a dickhead/smartass - I hope you didn't take it that way...   Anyway - we missed you last year!  Hope you are all healed up and better now!  How is that potato cannon doing?  Hotel or not - I still plan on shooting some spuds...        My theory was that there was a crack in the plastic somewhere (or a fitting was leaking) that was messing up the VERY delicate ratio of propane to air...did you suss it out?

my health has gone to shit because I gave up cigarettes and mtn dew   I take a shitload of meds now and I am getting better, so the doctor says.  
I am looking forward to the wcr and seeing everyone again and some great rides . Marlboro man craig will be there as well.

The potato cannon was back in action last year after the wiring was repaired for the spark generator . I will charge it up and make sure it is ready to go again.
My hvac students got a big kick out of it last year when I did a class on gas furnaces and flame propagation and used it for the display model . I let them shoot at each other and did a kinda three flys up game with it. It did get out of hand and there are now potato's growing all over sacramento. I was told not to bring it back again but I don't do what I am told . It is time to take it to class again so they can check it out.

  Ok its official looks like there will be an Aussie assault on the WCR and Colarardo  this yr with both The Kman and I doing this, look out boys your if for a shock   of course it depends on wether they will let me into the country or not but where there's a way there's mean.

Hello folks,
          It is looking very likely that me and my FJ will be making a west coast appearance in May and June. Work has finally given me the opportunity to get out there and experience what I have been reading about here for years. Here's the schedule as it appears now. I will be in Las Vegas from May 17th until the 26th, then need to be in Santa Clara, CA on Monday the 28th until June 1st. I can then spend 2 or more days in Porterville and need to be in San Diego on the 6th or 7th of June until the 16th. I will be working a show at each stop, but will have evenings free. So I am looking for route suggestions between cities, places to hang my hammock, and of course to meet any of you the would have the time. Even if it was just for a bite and a beer. I am really hoping the Tioga pass across Yosemite will be open early this year. If not, would a ride through Death Valley be a crazy idea?? Need to get crackin' on the bike repairs. Trucks are pulling out of Boston in 4 weeks!!

chain cleaned and lubed
throttle cables lubed
light bulbs checked

And I still have 3 weeks before the west coast rally .  I am ahead of the curve this year

bugga bugga the assault has been reduced to 1 as Klavdy the big sheila has turned up his toes and pulled out, something about some minor operation he had earlier in the year where they took out about 30cm of his gut and not having recovered enough, was worried about doing a Mr Bean and only riding 100 k's and having to have several days off to recover
so will just be me me hearty's a US rally virgin

I hope everyone realizes that he is damn lucky to be alive.... That was some serious shit he went through (or went through him)

Woah, uhhh..      Worried about me only going 100 k's??  He was leading, and I was just following.. not my problem if the old fart can't make it very far. 

You'll have a grand time.  Klavdy will be missed, but in the end him taking this year off is by far the best decision he could make.
