Does anyone know where I can get a set of these? I can get the NOJ velcro/foamies but I like the look of the plastic ones better.
Thanks
Kevin

The ones I had on my stock forks were purchased at my local Triumph dealer.

Is there a place to purchase these exact ones?  I would like a set for my '84.

That's a Triumph product. I got mine from a Triumph dealer. IIRC Cost ~$17 (10 years ago)

And that will fit an '84 FJ fork?

These are the fork guards from the Triumph Trophy 1200.
They were under $20 here in Australia a decade ago.
Only "hassle" is the screws are both on the same side (not mirrored).

I thought the triumph protectors had to be cut down because they came in contact with the fairing when the suspension compressed so I used the ones Alf referenced on his website.  Easy install with a zip tie.

I think the FJ Club sells a similar type now: http://www.fjcatalogue.com/catalog/item/7172455/7805266.htm

Neither the Triumph guards nor the ones on my Superbrace touched anything on my '89, but Klavdy had problems with the ones on his Superbrace hitting on his '89 IIRC, so it may depend on how things are set up on an individual bike.     :scratch_one-s_head:

Here's the pic Klavdy posted of his '89 with the Superbrace guards...

I don't recall anyone mentioning this problem with the prototype (pre-88) models.        :bomb:

I used ones from an ST1100 --- but I have had them for a while so I am thinking it would be something older 2005 and lower... they work well.  For ease of installation I cut them at the back so I could slip them on then added a little silicone on the inside to secure them to the fork and also the black zip tie to keep in place.  They stayed on my 86 for years and then I put them on the 90.  It saved me a lot of fork seals over the years as I found initially that on long trips ( my cross country adventures 8-10hr rides ) the bugs would harden and get down into the seals before I could get a chance to clean.

I just bought these. These guards are seriously hard to find online!
