not sure I may look into using the stock brakes, but expect an issue or two along the way.

Looks like the same size rotor as the GSXR. I wonder if the wheel is from the same manufacturer? Are you taking a FJ axel with you to see if you will need to change out the bearings?

Got my zx7r wheel.

I'm not 100% sure but I think 93-95 wheels have the same 20mm axle size as the FJ.
here is the (I assume) date code Sep. 23 1993

I think the 96-03? went with the 6" wheel and a bigger axle.
maybe changing the wheel bearings is an option.
Don't want to be too greedy so 5.5 will be good for now.

The 180/55/17 is pretty much the same overall height as my old 16" tire
so I am not anticipating any gearing change needed.

Cool Travis,

But note the markings on the wheel, specifically the JW or JU looking symbol above the made in Japan mark. I looked at my old 16" FJ wheel and the GSXR wheel. They both have that same mark on them. And now I see it on your Kawi wheel.

I wonder if that is the manufacturer's stamp or is some universal specification mark. Anyone got more info on that?
