Tassie is OK only $300 for the the Bike and a Recliner return....

High country around Cooma would be good too.

Wow, I've been slack! The FJ has really been sitting in the shed for months now, a meet up would be good though.

Hello To Klav, Richard and Harvey, haven't seen you guys for ages.

Hows it been Arnie?

X-Ray old buddy.....where have you been?

You must get the FJ out of the shed mate - before the carbs gum up!

Cheers

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

Arnie

G'day Ray,

Been OK, all things considered.
How can you leave your FJ in the shed for months?  This isn't a snow&ice country.
Drought and flooding rain..... I guess, but no ice.

Is anyone going to organize us with a proposed date and location for a ride/meet/rally?
March would be good for me, but will try to be flexible.

Cheers,
Arnie

Hey Fellas!! Haven't done much riding at all in the last year or 2, been getting a bit more into the 4WD scene, lots of fun.

I did go for a spin to Moogerah dam to check out how much it was overflowing etc, bike is running great. I really have to get out more!. A couple of years ago I did the rear wheel swap for the Suzuki GSX-R one, works a treat.  Change over piccies here ----- http://s367.photobucket.com/albums/oo115/raywise_2008/FJ1200%20Wheel%20Change/

Anyway, will have to catch up with you guys again real soon, and Doug as well.

Same here. Sorry I didn`t get the chance to catch up with more at the Superbikes Phillip Island trip. (A bit over 3000klms) Wrapped in getting a ride on Arnie`s beast along the Great Ocean Road. (Many many thanks Arnie - and yeah finally got some of that King George Whiting at Apollo Bay). FJ1 now parked in Adelaide. Not sure if I`ll get time to take it through the next planned leg (Broome) this season, (Won`t then make the Perth Leg without getting caught in the Big Wet) so will probably settle for a Barossa tour (or two) in August, (or maybe Phillip Island in October) then a Tassie Trip in January.(-Where it will again sleep for a few months before Broome) -Only $78 to fly in & out of Launceston from Sunshine Coast. (Tuff decisions these :sarcastic:)Yeah I reckon Tassie is the go and if any fj foreigners want to join us in say March 2012  I`ll bring down FJ2.  Doug.

Okay, a few people seem to like the idea with a rally down here in Tassie, I am more than happy to organize things at this end, idea's for destination / trips, things to see, accomodation suggestions ect. The best time to have it would be Jan thru to March, I live in Burnie which is 30 min from where the boat comes in so would be a good base to start from. So what do you all think, lets get some names down and start getting this under way, the more the merrier.

Gooday Colin,
Tempting, VERY tempting!
I still have the FJ though I don't ride it as often as I should.
It would be a great ride, that's for sure.
I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'?

"Well. I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine."
