I even have the smaller one for the oil pan galley as well. It looks the same, but I just have not had time to get it loaded to the website.

It is the same price as the one already listed. If you want that one instead, buy the large one and put in the additional information filed you want the one for the oil pan instead.

I doubt I will have time to get it post on line in the next couple of weeks. The WCR rush is on here at RPM and I have to make sure I get all of these bike done.

Today was, "install the voltmeter" after the rally I will do an oil temp. Out of time.... Would like to locate a digital meter to match my voltmeter.
Anyone running a dash cam? Thinking about mounting one under the headlight and power it from a switch in the dash area. So much to do.............

It's exactly what Im looking for plus the temperature sender piece that fits inside those threads. I'm trying to find a handlebar mounted type dial. Chrome. Maybe it's possible to have a 'double' sender, that would also do pressure.? That would be rather spiffing. Thank you.

You know, I have been looking for a digital gauge that'll do cylinder head and oil temp and came across these.

They are little stand alone boxes made my trail tech. Does anyone have experience with these?

You might like this gauge that innovate makes. (Does both temp and pressure with user programmable warning thresholds)

I also fitted the VDO temp gauge, nearly exactly the same as the way Firehawk did. (great pics and write up btw) But I have a problem in that the needle bounces around quite a bit. Has anyone else experienced this?

Cheers, Dazza

Mine does it too, at midrange and higher rpm's.................I am guessing it wasn't designed to handle the vibration, being an automotive type gauge.....

I usually just pull the clutch in, and let the engine drop to idle while I'm buzzing down the road if I want an accurate reading........otherwise I just guestimate the range where the needle is bouncing at...........Should be a liquid filled gauge (I thought about sealing it, and filling it with some sort of silicone damping fluid)

I have some trailtech bits on my KTM. They are a very good company. Lots of guys use their computers and lights when they convert their dirtbikes to dual-sports.

Good evening,

When I installed the oil cooler from R.P.M. I also installed an oil pressure and an oil temperature as well to monitor the performance of the cooler.

I chose the gauges from Glowshift.  They are analog and a quick glance at the position of the needle informs of the pressure and temperature.  There is also a choice of lighting choices at the push of a button.  There is also the possibility of dimming them for nighttime use if desired by simply installing a switch.

While they are intended for automobile use, a dab of dialectic grease on the back side ensures all weather performance.  The needles are unaffected by vibration at any speed.

And is the performance of the oil cooler as claimed?  Most definitely as it is perhaps the main reason my engine remains strong after so many miles.  And not just on hot days.  It also prevents overcooling as well during cold weather runs.

I would also like to note that customer service from Glowshift is very good, even after the sale.  Pricing seems okay as compared to other options.

Ride safe,

Mike Ramos.

You know those do look like excellent gauges. Now for those of us in the 'cheap bastards' catagory, I went with the $15 gauge from amazon.
Of course the first one vibrated to death mounted to the panel next to the tank so I came up with this solution.

I'm still going to probably roll my own digital gauge for a less intrusive setup, but this works great for now and gets me the data I want.

The digital oil temp gauge doesn't bounce.         http://shindypro.com/temp_gauge.html

A local stainless steel shop made this for me. Fits onto tubular handlebar.
