I think Oil Temp is a valuable piece of information. For me, Oil Pressure is higher on the list. Where would I have to install one of these adapters to read said OP?
I have mentioned the same thing before. The FJ's, VMax etc oil level light is crap IMO. I can have it lite for 3 gears under hard acceleration and a mild incline. I have no idea what the actual pressure at that point and it would be reassuring to know.
I will be installing a mechanical unit on my bike (in my spare time :scratch_one-s_head:). It will be running off the right main galley.
I have run a Shindy digital oil temp guage for a number of years now. It works very well and is easy to hook up. I have it installed in the oil pan replacing the drain bolt.

Brook, I was going to ask you where you got those nice little front shock slider protectors?
Besides being very practical they look pretty smart too, as does your whole bike.
You must be turning heads everywhere go.

...... I tryed to take the pic of the oil sensor, from my members gallery, did not work.
thanks fj11.5........ I can honestly say, I got very lucky with the nose and tail sections. One of the guys that I use to  work with has a neighbor that had the R1nose for sale. I bought it, on site. before taking any measurements.

grannyknot thanks also,.... the slider protectors on the forks came with the FZ1[parts] bike that I have..

On Wednesday nights, I go to Quacker Steak and Lube and Biff Burger[bike night] in St Pete Fl.
And every Wed. night, around 2000 bikes show-up. So yes, it does get a little bit of attention. most comes from
the older guys. they see that it is an FJ [and I am not kidding, almost everyone tells me, that the FJ was..... THE BIKE.....back in the day.

On Saturday nights, I go to the LOT, that is in Clearwater Fl. and there, I get a lot of questions from the younger guys about the R1nose and the R6tail, and they do ask ........ what year is it!!

Brook

......... Pat, I just notice that you fix the pic. again. ........ thanks again.

I have tryed many times, coping the > direct link < and pasting it in between the 's.
also, copied the URL that is in the grey bar that is at the top of the screen.

I have the feeling, that I am not allowed to place pic's in the post area's. but,  I will be the first to admit, that I am not very good, with this computer.

There is no conspiracy against you Brook - you just need to read the directions through again:
