I think august looks good towards the end of the month.

Too close to the EC Fall Rally...

SO how does the weekend of August 6 and 7 sound?

I don't have any idea what the weather is like, but from what you are all saying, July is still too cold, and late August is too close to ECR.

What say you all? I want to book some holidays and get myself a plane ride!

Well, I think we are agreed to the month of August.

By looking at the dates for ALL the Rallies in place at this point, the North East Rally is set for July 15-18, and the Fall East Coast Rally is set for Sept 14-18.

By having the Colorado Rally during Aug 12-15 would put it right in the middle of the two Rallys.

With that being said, I realize that some that are going to the North East Rally may not be going to the Colorado Rally, so we could easily move the Colorado date up a week or two.

Anyone attempting to do these two in a row?

If not, then we can vote on which of the first 3 weekends in August will work the best for the majority.

I've added a poll for the dates in August......let's see if that can get this moving.
If a date can be decided, we can then decide on a location.

For my part, I figured if I could fit in a 3rd Rally in 2011, it would be one or the other of these.

For 2012, I want to try to make it further west.

The first weekend is a no go for me as my anniversary is the 4th , and the swmbo would set my fj on fire if I went to a rally at that time. :diablo:

so any other weekend in Aug would be ok. :good2:

Hope we can get a date that works for most people, (east & west). A Summer Central Rally sounds great!!

Harvy,
Why not also come over in early June for the WC rally with your fellow countryman Klavdy, I have a Suzuki Bandit if need a bike to ride. Next year's WCR at the ranch should be a good One! :good2:

Mike, that would be an excellent idea, but I doubt the funds can stretch that far. My plan is to meet as many of you folks as possible from both coasts, so I thought the more central CO rally would fit the bill.

I gotta say I am most appreciative of you folks offering up rides while I am there.....not mentioning any names, you know who you are!

Depending on dates and work commitments, both K and I will be in on the CO Rally.

I must attend a rally to be eligible to wear a rally t-shirt/hoody/hat/whatever.
The FJowners.com hoody that K bought back for me needs a friend to hang around with during 9 months of the year here, when its too warm for such quality/warm garments.

Quote•Right, there will be a rally in Gunnison Colorado on such and such a date.
Here is the number of the K.O.A
Book your rooms
See you there.

I like this idea the best.  I am here, but don't like the idea of planning rides for other people.. Generally I like to keep to a very loose plan or no plan at all.  The dates all work for me.

So somebody pick a date, when everybody shows up at that time and place, post a map, pick a route, ride hard, fast, and long.
This can't happen soon enough.
