Is it time to build another Colorado Rally for 2011?  I'm thinking mid or late July 2011.

We've been to Gunnison and could do it again, or we can move north closer to the I-70.  Selfish in the sense that I would like to cover some new roads and see more of the state.    I'm figuring if 3 or 4 FJs show up, it is an official rally.   I think Alan is with me  in concept, so we only need 1 more, but we all know the more the merrier!

Are we tied to the KOA concept?   I think we are tied to a fire ring and dirty big drums, but I'm not seeing a KOA in the less touristy areas that also have good roads for daily loops.   Could go north to Walden and include some WY road scenery.

Anyone in the area with suggestions, I'm eager to hear them!     Post up, we are looking at a year or less...   :mail1:

Pretty tentative right now, since I am looking at different employment possibilites, but I think this would be doable for me.   :good:

I'm in!  Only caveat is I have to not be deployed!

Probably have to get there a day or two early to lever off the squared off tires and wash all the freaking dirt and cow crap off of it!

There is a good chance I'd be able to make it.  As a matter of fact, I just drove into Gunnison about 30 minutes ago!  I'm going to spend a few days here showing off the town and area to my wife.  My thought is that maybe we can move here next year....

No KOA necessary, but I hate tenting, so some kind of accommodation that has a fire pit is nice!  Let's start doing some looking into roads we want to ride in CO and planning from there.

Fluffy hates Tenting, I hate spooning, best make it a civilised affair if you want us to turn up.

I'd be up for a central rally if it were (at least) a few weeks after the WCR.  Even though my boss doesn't mind me taking time off, the whole work ethic thing kicks in if I don't spread my time off requests out a bit.

Hmmm... maybe 5lbs of thermite to light a fire for a central rally eh??  :)

Depending on how things go, and if my Wife finds a job in the education field, We will most likely be moved to Denver by this time next year, so I'd be alot closer if that happens to work out.
