Hi all.
Recently bought a 1996 model FJ1200 NON ABS (EU-model) with 19k miles on the clock.

I would like to upgrade suspension, front and rear. So I believe the bike is a 96 model, but dont know for sure, might as well just be a 95 model sold and registered in 96. Anyway, for the front fork spring, I noticed that the upgraded ones that RPM sells are for 84-93 only? Did Yamaha change anything for the last models, so that these would not fit my bike?
Fork springs: http://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=M%2FC%3AFS.85

And RPM fork valve: https://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=M%2FC%3ARPMForkValve

And for the brake lines: http://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=S-YA0147&cat=39

Regarding brake lines, it says (Original 3 Line 88-94), as my bike is not a 94, but has 3 lines up front, would these fit?

Thanks in advance :)

The FJ was last sold in the USA as 93, they continued to sell the 93 in other countries as 94+ so all the parts will fit.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Great, thanks for your reply. Wow, this is going to cost, but will be worth it as I intend to use the bike alot.

As for banjo bolts, I want to renew those in the front as well. How many and which do I need? Three singles and one double?

I am not that experienced when it comes to these things.

3 single banjo
1 double

The kit has all of the crush washers you will need

Doesn't the Spiegler line kit come with new banjo bolts?

They do not, unless, it is the alternate two line kits. They come with the "required" double banjo to swap from the 3 line to the 2 line. But the normal kits do not.

Fork valves and springs made a noticeable difference to my bike.
