Fantastic news Troy.
My best plan would be to ride from home direct (well, maybe not direct. I mean, Via a "Decent Motorcycle Route.") to the Dyno and meet up there.
So, the exact location / address of the Dyno would be appreciated.
T minus 10 and counting. (that's minus 9 for most)

Just plotting out our route from Brisbane, think we have it all checked. Brisbane to Tamworth first day, then Tamworth to Bathurst Thursday, then an easy 4 hour drive to Creighton Manor on Friday. Hopefully the track is not closed yet in preparation for the big race in a few weeks, really want to take the Patrol on a couple of laps  :good2:

I did a recce drive up to Wauchope from Belmont on Thursday (for our VJMC overnighter) to see how much of the old Pacific Highway is left. Result - not much. Took the Buckets Way just north of Raymond Terrace then took a right at Booral which took me back to the highway just short of Buladelah. This is a road that I haven't been on in years as it was pretty rough. Happy to say its now a good road. Spent a bit of time in The National MC Museum at Nabiac. They have a very nice, low K, FJ1100 since I was last there. Also saw a beautifully restored 68 DT1. I have one of those in the shed patiently waiting its turn (which may never come).
Returned home via Oxley H'way and Thunderbolt's Way. The bush fire coming down the mountain to Barrington had only just been put out. Strong smell of burnt bush. Also there was a strong smell of brake pads and linings from the ute in front of me and even some smoke! Eke! It was fun punting the turbo Forester through the twisties. Did not see one patrol car until back on Buckets Way at Gloucester.
Have a good Shed Day.

That's right, you missed the Museum at the Rally, is the FJ still the second one in from the start?
Not sure whether they rank them from the cheapest at the start  :sarcastic:

You have a good and safe Oxley weekend (lets hope there's no strong winds about) they even have table and chairs with cover near Mt Seaview turn off. (I don't think it was there last March)

For those intrepid souls making their way to Nowra this weekend, this is an actual shot from Troy's driveway in the middle of the day, before the 'roos get busy around dusk.

Don't be late!

I've plotted mine: Get on bike in Melbourne, get off bike in Nowra.

I'm plotting mine as well.

Just have to make sure I can get from Kuwait to home in time  :sarcastic:.

I might award myself the longest trip to my own shed day. Unfortunately it can't count as none of my FJs can get across the Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, and the whole continent of Australia in time, even if it was paved the whole way.

I did manage the Perth to Sydney run in 4.5 days once on my 2nd FJ. I was young and had didn't want to be AWOL from work.

I think I'd better stick with the airlines for this trip. Plus I can have a few cleansing ales on the way  :drinks:

Yes, the key is under the mat. But first you have to find the mat  :sarcastic:

Pete, yes mate. In lieu of a request I've taken a punt and stocked extra chocolate milk for you especially. I went for the high sugar and super caffeine version as I know you hate beer. For every one else there is a mix of holy water, high spirits, and some blood of Christ (yes I'm going to hell)
