Anybody else seeing advertising posts under the name FJowners.com?

fj1289

Not sure what you mean?  Spamming on here?  Or someone using the FJowners.com in their advertising?

the fan

I am seeing advertising links in every other post, in every topic.  Noticed it today on me work computer and still seeing it here at home.

that kinda rules out it coming from my end.

the author of each post is shown as FJowners.com

Within the body of the post?

I'm not seeing it, wherever it is.

I saw some crap the other day too. I think someone hacked in somehow.

Take a screen shot so we can see what you are seeing.

I thought being a $ Contributor was what got rid of those ads?

make sure you are logged in with your username account, and not just viewing as a guest.
You might have been logged out somehow?

I spoke with Randy and the forum is working properly. We currently have 211 contributing members as of March of this year. An option to avoid adds every year is to Subscribe with an amount you are comfortable with. You will find this at the bottom of every post page.

So... in essence we are no longer members... we are profit centers.

Good Bye.

If that's how you feel, we don't need you. That being said, thanks for the reminder. Annual contribution made. This site is easily as or more valuable to me than any motorcycle magazine subscription. Thanks for keeping the site going Randy!

Hasn't the disclaimer always been there, on the login page? I mean, ALWAYS?
