I'm hoping I will be able to make and catch up with some of you guys. The dyno run sounds very tempting too so I would be up for that too hee how many horses have escaped.............
Cool Jools, I'll pencil you in.

Update to the dyno run.
The young chap who'll be riding the dyno will confirm his availability about a month out (he races).
I had no joy about getting a discount from the $90 per run, but he did say we get the printed report, plus tuning tips.
You guy's might be able to confirm, but apparently I've been spoilt with access to a dyno at $90 per go.
Also, apparently, this is a new whizz-bang dyno machine with all the bells and whistles, although that is mostly for injected bikes they said.
They did confirm that Saturday morning suits them best if they're not racing, so if all goes well we can have a BBQ lunch and compare charts (with beer perhaps).

Hi Troy

Never been to a Manshed day before, but this one looks Brillant, you must of spent a lot of time and effort on this.
I cannot believe how much you did in such a short time with "Aussie 1100's new life".

I will endeavour to make it (work dependant, I suppose if I don't answer the phone week prior might be easier) but it could be just for the Saturday.
I was going to book the bike in for a once over at Glenn Henry and a Dyno to see what else it needs but along came this Manshed Day, unbelievable, looking forward to meeting all.

A few Fridays ago (the one before all that rain) I was overlooking Nowra from Cambewarra Lookout, knocked off early and needed a Pie

Cool Sparky, the shed is somewhere in the green near the red circle....getting excited boys!
BTW- for anyone interested there is a charity ride from Nowra to Nerriga (BBQ, raffles etc) for a lad who passed away recently. Money goes to family trust. I've been told it departs Nowra at 10 or 11am on Saturday 19th. I'll be going, but will depart from Glenn Henry's at about 11am, or when I see them rolling past.

Looking forward to it too, and giving the FJ a good run out.

Note to self - must get a gel seat cover LOL!

Manshed update,
Pool is on, nice & warm, ran it up to 28 today (I'm a wimp when it comes to cold water), all serene.
Firepit checked & tested, also compliant for no permit, so, as long as there is not a total fire ban we are good to burn.
I'm checking with a local chemical company about the necessary items for the home galvanising/plating experiments, but should be good to go.
SWMBO & kids are still keen on getting away for the weekend, so we can use potty language without fear.
Shed sorting is still underway (I'm not allowed out when there's a council cleanup anymore  :ireful:), but it's a bigger job than I thought.
Getting closer lads!

G'day Rob, I think the beds are taken so far, but we do have comfy lounges (day beds) left, plus a mattress, and I think a blow-up mattress that still holds air. I'll check with SWMBO and see if I can commandeer the kids rooms. I'll also do a call around and see if I can roust up some extra camp beds or mattresses.
You guys are LEGENDS, the VIC and QLD crews may be out-numbering NSW!

Hi Troy,
matress, lounge, camp bed what ever - dont care - there to catch up with some orsum FJ crew and get away for a bit. :drinks: Happy to book in down the road as I am a late starter...just let me know what suits.

Agree with the general...we should organise a convoy so happy to join who ever from QLD that are travelling down.

Apologies to Ray - as I have been meaning to respond.. Yes at this stage I will head to Mapleton for the ride..might even stay the night. Also my neigbour has expressed interest in attending on his Yamaha (R3) due to the great reputation the group has. Hope he does - as I know we will convert him to an FJ following the trip.
