Quite right Harv, will have to see how the dates pan out.

If you are in Byron Bay for a few days Noel there may be a couple/few of us that would love a quick sprint down to say hello,  :good2:

That would be cool Ray, in fact it would be excellent.

My brother is going to an event up there and I was just going for the ride, stay the night and turn around and go home again.

However, it must have been the 30th of June when he loosely mentioned "next month". It turns out he's leaving 8 days from now (which I only found out tonight) and that is probably cutting it too fine for me on that sort of notice anyway.

I might just ride the first day or so with him, depends which way he's going. Then again, the only good roads North from here aren't suitable this time of the year so maybe I won't.

If I get a lucky break from work, I'll let you know.

Good ta hear Troy. I`ve got on a beanie and an electric throw over rug by the telley at the moment, so will be hankering for the first summer ride I can tell ya.

Looks like I`ll have room for two more bikes on the trailer. Can pick up and drop off any bike between Sunshine Coast and Bermagui, (they don`t have ta be in running order!), along with their owners....just PM me.

Given Glenn Henry (http://www.glennhenrymotorcycles.com.au/) and Noel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxqaI_c9j_g) along with Pete and his mates (https://www.google.com.au/?gws_rd=ssl#q=thugs+get+lonely+too), are already planning to be there, it promises to be an enlightening campfire!

G'day all, I might have to kill some staff here at the Bakery to make it to Nowra.
Although now that I've thought about it, if I killed them I'd have to do their work.
Perhaps I could Sweet Talk them  :praising: to sacrifice some of their leave around that time for my mental well being.
I'll have a real good think about it, so put me down as a maybe please.

Be Good

Manshed experiments....
I've watched with interest a couple of threads here, plus some youtube vids, about 'home grown' electrolysis and nickel/zinc electroplating.
I've a rusty tank that could be salvaged if properly fixed up. I'm also optimistic enough to think it could work for me.
Anyone up for some mad-scientist shed fun on the Manshed day (some of the vids mention risk of explosion,...that would be extra cool!)?

Mate, great idea and yep I`ve seen it work on tanks and using home kits on bolts & even springs to get that gold look. Not sure that the FJ crew I`ve met are mad scientists but 100% of them qualify for 50% of the title!
I`ve been working on a more permanent water pistol to be front mounted on the sidecar, but having a prob fitting the high pressure container (old gas bottle) and associated explosion risk. ....We can work on both projects at the same time!     .......extra, extra Cool!   (I`ll bring that spare 87 ambulance tank with me just in case yours ends up in orbit). :drinks:

Troy, this raises the bar for Manshed Day to a whole new level.

I'll watch from the street so there's someone to tell the police what happened.

Sounds like fun, I'm looking forward to it.

Dyno run....
I've a few us (me included) have booked for the Dyno run already. I'm going to try for a bulk discount.
Do we have any further takers?
Each test takes 20-30 min with print-out.
I'm thinking (yes I've been told to cut that out before) we should aim for a mid morning Saturday Dyno run & BBQ  :drinks: back at the shed to compare charts.
I'll drop into the Dyno mob this morning and see what I can arrange.
I'm also working on a little surprise.....
