Well i'm finally ready to bolt on Gixxer rear conversion when a plan to re-do front popped up....going from 89 stock front forks to 92 with RPM valve and Race Tech Springs...and a nice 3.5 FZR Rim..Pictures to follow....next on list F4i Shock and new clutch master.....Fred you killing me brother.....eveytime you do another mod i'm getting deeper into the Rabbit hole!!!!!..Never the less keep it coming!!!!! :good:

hey sabre,
i am in the middle of doing a '91 FZR 3.5" wheel conversion using the '89 forks and RPM internals
i am having a centering issue with the wheel(maybe a mm)
i hope you can post some pics of your process and update the thread as you go- for the life of me, i cannot figure out the issue

 Eric, the wheel Sabre is using is an 88 FZR 3.5". It is identical to the FJ 17" wheel , but a half inch wider at the rim only. No fitment issues at all.

Got to thank FJ Johnnie for the hook up,looking forward to new frt Mark,will be in overload on 1st ride as I'm doing Gixxer swap too...weather been fickle up here cold one day not bad the next...I planned for 2nd week of May...and bye Kookaloo!!!!!! I plan to be ripping er up!...and after finding my tank has a pinhole on top and needs new makeup(paint and body work)I have decided to peel the 87 and marry to the 86...this is going to get interesting! !!!!!!Muhhhhaaaaaaa!!!!!!

If you like your front fender consider a fork brace. The OEM forks flex and causes cracks in the plastic, the tabs are the first to go.

Before i ripped the rear end apart i took it for a ride and all i can say is RPM fork internals and Race Tech Springs are the  :bomb:....Oh so Sweet!
