I use a Pingle adaptor plate with a 90 degree fitting and their inline vacuum shut off. http://www.pingelonline.com/pc_product_detail.asp?key=3CCC32F0434D41F0B6C89EC32D85EB11  Has worked great over the past 3 years

i like this idea
the 90* fitting, is that a Pingel accessory or is it something you came up with yourself?

fjfool

also, i need to thank every one for their input!
i am very new to this site and the FJ
i really appreciate the support as i fret about the details
over and over i continue to receive great information soon after i ask, i am very happy i found this place
on top of that i have been shown some unprecedented offers of generosity with nothing asked in return
thanks again for all the help
