Bones

Seeing as Stu doesn't want us there until after nine Ken, I can meet you at the servo about 8.30 - 8.45 am.

Cheale and I will be leaving my place around 8.30. we wouldn't get to the BPs till around 9 or just after, but if you're happy to wait we'll see you there. I have to get some DOT 4, going to flush front and rear brakes, the fronts are especially spongy,  :cray:

Hey Stu, Bender (Stephen) contacted me this arvo to see if there is space for him to come on Sat as well, I said should be no probs. He has the early FJ1100 and wants to change fork fluid. Do the early FJ1100s have that inner socket cap setup? I can't remember, but if anyone has the tool for the job Stephen would appreciate you bringing it.

Giving the bike a clean this arvo, go to take the belly pan off and I think, when the hell did I smash into the road to cause this damage??

Then I felt around the clutch slave.  :dash1: Was only thinking a few weeks back it might be time to change the seals, looks like I left it too long. Ok, another job for tomorrow, bleed brakes and put in new slave kit. DAMMIT!!!!!!! Not sure how this belly pan is going to be repaired.

Ray, if you washed your bike occasionally and kept it clean, you would have noticed the leak.  :rofl2:

I know Noel, I have been slack,  :empathy2:

Tell you what, this is a good reason for changing the fluids over to a DOT 5 base, it does not attack paint/plastics. I will do this one day, probably when I order a complete new clutch slave and fit it.

I think the early FJs used an internal hex nut Ken, I'll have to look it up.
