Glenn, manshed days are much more importanter than gadding around the country for a couple of months with no responsibilities and just having fun. Please get your priorities in order

Smitti

Hey Stu, my first one since joining the forum.  I'm just up or down the road at  Narangba.  Looking forward to it.
I think I'm in danger of growing old badly but who bloody cares!

What is it about a snag in bread with onion and a bit dead horse that's so irresistible ( but it has to be cheap white sliced bread). I can't pass up a sausage sizzle, even if I've just eaten or the place I was at 5 minutes ago had one.

The snags are terrible, the onion always under cooked (onion burps for the rest of the day) and as the snag melts the butter and soaks the bread, the serviette and bread become one, providing the most nutritional part of the meal and leaving you nothing but your trouser legs to wipe you hands on.

Ken can keep his chicken wings, gravy or not, I'm with you Ray.

Lol, yep, can't pass them up. Went to Bunnings on Saturday morn, hadn't had brekky yet. Ooh look, the obligatory sausage sizzle tent right outside the entrance,  ummm 1 please, with onions, mustard and tomato sauce.  Go inside and buy a few things, come back outside, ask the wife for another $2.50, umm 1 please etc etc lol  :drinks:

And what did we have for lunch at work today? Mmmmm, I stopped at 3, couldn't have toooo many.

Gotta love em.

Haha, if I need hardware on the weekend I go to Bunnings. Mitre10 is just down the road and I have an account there, but........ they don't have sausage sizzles.

Now that I think about it, the extra time to get to Bunnings at my hourly rate, the time to find what I need in a store 10 times bigger, the things I buy that I didn't go there for and don't really need, fuel, lost momemtum, hmmmm, that snag probably costs me $200, may as well have two while I'm there and lower the cost per unit.

I wonder if I can bring my own wine next time?

You don't get be my age and in the pink by eating bad food, I always ask for the snag at the high end of the plate (less fat)  Yes siree, that's the key to a long and healthy life.

Ken on the other hand, with his gravy and "skin on" chicken wings is just asking for it.

Jeez Ray, you take your wife to Bunnings?  I took mine once about 10 years ago, I'm still paying it off.
