If it's well done, Everybody will think your a genius and if not....Well, not genius. Haha

This one here is, in my eyes, genius!

There was a side view floating around but I can't see it right off.

I have this photo... (I once found many pics of this bike from around the time of the actual build but can't find them any more)

I think this bike is virtually flawless and the most you can get out of an FJ as a streetfighter. I have my custom guy drawing up plans based on this but all black and stainless with tons of blue LEDs.

Maybe u can start an own thread and post whatever you want... instead of hijacking mine.. Pretty disrespectful!

It's interesting that someone fitted a fill plug in one of the oil galleys on your engine........................

Are you naming your bike? "The Bear"  :good:

Ive been pretty confused about what that plug was doing there  What does oil galley mean? Didnt get any translation for that :/ Is it another peeking window for oil level? :p

Haven´t thought of any names really :) but love my little bear in the front, thought it was a given cause thats what my name (Björn) means in english :)

Firehawk068

I would say that the term "OIl Galley" refers to basically a channel, or pathway for the circulated oil to travel throughout the engine................
The plug that is supposed to go there is an internal-hex-head cap, that you would use an allen key to remove.............

It should look like the plug on the left in this picture..............................There are a few more on the engine. I believe there are a couple different size threads on them.

Alright! :) Could be a good thing to replace that then in the future.. haha

All the oil caps on FJ are the same thread size I think..

No, there are two caps depending on the thread pitch:

FINE: Aluminum construction.

COURSE: Back-O-Lite construction

There are two different oil fill caps depending on pitch, but what about the plugs where the temp gauge adapter goes?

BTW, I recently did this mod/upgrade as well using this adapter. Excellent work on the part of RPM I must say. The only improvement would be if it came with the o-ring or had a link to one. I just reused the one from the plug I removed.  I used the same location as well and opted for a digital temp gauge to avoid issues with needle bounce.

Corrected with a related link associated, sorry about that.

Yamaha Main Oil Galley Adapter

Also, there is a smaller galley adapter for the oil pan galley that I need to get added back to inventory. I will get that done shortly and posted up.
