Instead of just posting the pictures, I decided this time I would put together a slide-show.
I finally had some extra free time this weekend, so I messed with it a little.
Hopefully it came out ok.
A very BIG "Thank You" to all my friends who made this Rally special to me!
I truly am a "Lucky Man"!
Enjoy! :drinks:

Yeah, I missed it..............I love Willits, and you west-coast Folks, but I can typically only make it to one Rally each year. (Gotta divide up the vacation time between myself, and trips with Tanis and the Boys)
This year I had the opportunity to host one here in Colorado, so I took it.
I fully plan on attending the WCR next year though! :good:
Wow! Awesome job Alan! It was like being there all over again. Next year is too long to wait to see you again buddy!
Derek
Great video Alan, thank you.

Looks like our SoCal Mike's bike and or his penchant for finding the edge of his tires... A bit of a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone...
wow.. envious of the personal experience and territory you'll shared..and thanks for sharing, those pics mean a lot to those of us who can't be there but wish we were
Louie
Thanks Alan for all you did to make the Ouray rally a success!

I thought LA Mike's FJ was black, when did he get a different Fj?
No, not LA Mike, not San Dimas Mike.......the other SoCal Mike.....

That small dot, on the right side, 2/3 of the way down just above the road is an FJ.

Wow! I hope he did better than his bike looks. I need to pick up some plastic welding rod from him, might be a good time to get the story from him.

The owner rode away, more than can be said for the bike. There is a picture somewhere.

Based on the list of rally attendees, the RPM exhaust, thunder ace swing arm and the ground off left rear crash bung, that was Skymasteres.
Some of the comments are coming into focus.

I have not heard, but I hope the ride out for Mike was not in an ambulance.
Randy - RPM
He was fine. Banged up. He rode (passenger) to the hospital for a check up and was released late Sat. night.
Life has given several hints to Mike, I hope he is listening.

...would it be in poor taste to ask if he'd be interested in selling the exhaust...
Wow! Great show Alan. Sorry I couldn't make it. Looks like it was a blast.

With a wave like that, Donna must have had some "Gooooood Stuff" in the ol' EMT bag. :wacko3:
Always hate to hear about incidents like this, but glad that no serious injury ensued. :good2:
If I might ask: in regards to riding gear, what worked and what didn't. It sounds like it did its job well, and no damage is visible in the above pict.
Mike the next day.

Outstanding video record, Alan.
You have an awesome grasp on this production.

I echo the good work Alan. Sure is a beautiful area.

Leon, it was awesome riding with you and Cory.
We certainly shared some great memories!
Although I was disappointed that we didn't get to try the "Swingin-Steak", it was a blessing cause we were able to head back and eat with the rest of the group (and I'm sure our steaks were better anyway)

Awesome video Alan -- I love how you got the bikes in as the train went by. Sorry to hear about the offroad for Skymasters but very glad he is ok -- its never fun leaving a rally with rides left but always good to leave healthy......

I can't take credit for that part of the video. I borrowed that clip, and the FJ ride-by clip from Cap'n Ron..................The entire video (including all pictures) was shot completely with an iphone. :good:
