Well, we're back home, all the stuff is unloaded, and I've had a few days to rest up and reflect on the past few weeks.

To everyone who attended the WCR and Central Rallies, a heartfelt thank you!  I'm overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of generosity and support I received.  From mechanical expertise, to fine meals, trailer help, fine malted beverages, or slowing the pace a bit to ride with me, I'm in your debt. To try and name everyone would inevitably leave someone out, but you know who you are...  :)

I managed to rack up several hundred quality FJ miles at the WCR, and thanks to some expert routing advice from Paul L, I got to take in Yosemite, Bryce Canyon, Escalante, Capitol Reef National Parks, and Kodachrome Basin State Park while enroute from WIllits to Ouray.

Unfortunately, the elevations kicked my ass in Utah and Colorado, and I was only able to log a bit under 200 miles at Ouray.  But, because Susan had hopped a train and met me there, we still were able to see a few places in the car.

It was great to see old friends again, and meet others for the first time, and to put faces to names!

There simply can't be a finer owners group anywhere...

Randy, it was great talking to a fellow Midwestener, and a Royals fan, to boot.
Sounds like you took the scenic route, I would love to see some pics of your trip.

I really enjoyed spending some time with you Randy.
Just always remember, you are #1 with me!
And thank you for getting me involved with this bunch!
The rallies have been some of the best vacations I have ever taken!
Take care.

I count myself as the lucky one getting to meet you and have some one on one time talking to you.

We have been corresponding through Facebook for a couple of years. It was a pleasure to meet and spend some time with you in person.

Sharing a meal with you at 1:00am Sunday morning was very enjoyable, following an eventful day.

I'm not sure if we got a photo of the proverbial rally carb repairs on your FJ, but I did get a photo of you soaking up the beautiful California weather.
