Who
Think of that Britney Spears song, "oops I did it again".

That small dot, on the right side, 2/3 of the way down just above the road is an FJ.

Wow! I hope he did better than his bike looks. I need to pick up some plastic welding rod from him, might be a good time to get the story from him.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

'86 Ambulance - Bent frame, cracked case, due for an overhaul
'89 Stormy Blue - Suits my Dark Side

The resting place of the off road excursion

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

The owner rode away, more than can be said for the bike. There is a picture somewhere.

Who not familiar with socal mike

Based on the list of rally attendees, the RPM exhaust, thunder ace swing arm and the ground off left rear crash bung, that was Skymasteres.

Some of the comments are coming into focus.

Most know the end of this story before I finish it, but for the sake of completeness I figure I'll just continue.

Sharing a meal with you at 1:00am Sunday morning was very enjoyable, following an eventful day.

I have not heard, but I hope the ride out for Mike was not in an ambulance.

He was fine. Banged up. He rode (passenger) to the hospital for a check up and was released late Sat. night.

Life has given several hints to Mike, I hope he is listening.

Cat is out of the bag so.

That's one way to streetfighter one!

...would it be in poor taste to ask if he'd be interested in selling the exhaust...

Wow! Great show Alan. Sorry I couldn't make it. Looks like it was a blast.

With a wave like that, Donna must have had some "Gooooood Stuff" in the ol' EMT bag.  :wacko3:

Always hate to hear about incidents like this, but glad that no serious injury ensued.   :good2:

If I might ask: in regards to riding gear, what worked and what didn't.  It sounds like it did its job well, and no damage is visible in the above pict.
