I was going to use FN COPS as the title but I chose to be nice.
I live in Elk Grove # 5 on that list.
I am a visitor I am staying at a friends in his Condo.I have a visitor pass and park in a visitor parking spot.
I have the 86 here as its for sale it is parked in front of my car up against a line of trees so I only use 1 parking spot.
I came out yesterday and there were 2 tickets on my car which was also facing the trees so cop had to get out of his car and walk to the front of my car.One for the bike and one for the car.Tickets were both for no village stickers.
I am pissed off because i dont think going to court would help I think they would just add court costs to and piss me off more.I think the cost is going to be $200.$50 x 2 for the tickets and $50 x 2 for the village stickers.

Illinois' Elk Grove Village has the typical traffic cop problem of a big town/small city of around 30,000 residents. It's big enough that there are plenty of cops, but it's small enough that nothing ever really happens. Again, this leads to bored cops with nothing to do but cite you for inconceivably minor offences as several of our readers can attest.
