That's not the way we usually come in to Ducktown anyway..  we normally come in from the north off 68 and then turn east.  Hope they get it fixed though.

I guess the point was that they figure traffic on 68 will increase...

Buff Bill! glad you're coming down.   All I ask is that when you see me up close in your mirror, wave me by.  Don't make me pass your cruiser in the corner.  on your right..

:flag_of_truce:   (yeah I know, Boulevard or not, you will run off and leave us for dead and we'll just see you at dinner.  Unless we find you on the side of the road out of gas.)

Danny Boy, You probably won't even recognize me. Between the thumpin V-Twin and the big change in my body weight from not riding a sportbike since the 2011 fall rally I had to go out and buy all new gear. On second thought I will still have the same dusty old helmet. Didn't really need to buy one considering the new bike and the helmet laws here in KY.

I will keeo an eye on my mirrors al the way to "earning" my dragon sticker and survivor t shirt.

Well Bill, you're right I certainly wouldn't have believed it - If Dean hadn't already warned me and sent this picture...

Disaster strikes!

I was out riding local trails with a buddy this morning, got screwed up and fell over trying to cross a big pile of rocks.   Not going fast but just tipped over to the left and shifter punched a hole the size of my pinky finger in my stator cover.  Had to push it out to the road and call my son to come get me.
:ireful:

Anyway, 11 days til ecfr and this.  New cover ordered should be here about Thurs 9/12..  as long at that happens, I should easily be good to go with time to spare.  Makes me a little nervous though.

If you'd get another FJ and stop riding that off-brand shit, this wouldn't be a problem.   :pardon:

You need to step up.  1989 called and wants it's motorcycle back.

The perfect bike... despite years of trying, no one has been able to do any better.    :i_am_so_happy:

yeah, me too.  and if it were just a weepy-crack I'd have already done that..

I'ts a pretty substantial hole this time.. I'd say this calls for jbweld AND duct tape AND wrap the whole thing in bailing wire to be safe  :good:

JB Weld alone would be fine, but I think you're a belt and suspenders kind of guy.
