I got a question for you guys. I picked up some 92 forks to do my front FZR and Blue spot mod. The forks came with the lower triple and steering shaft/spindle. My question is, can I use the lower triple and shaft on my 84? The only difference I can see in them is that the lower triple is black instead of raw. Thats pretty much the only reason I want to use it, is cause of the color. I was going to remove the stock one and paint it black. This would save me the work. And I can do the wheel swap off the bike (at work and get paid  :good2:). Thanks in advance.

I don't think they changed from 84 to 87, maybe even longer if ever. Might be same for all years... You can look the part by year in the on line parts fisch site Ron Ayers, then check other years, if only the last character(s) change for color then they will fit.

Well the Ron Ayers didn't have the part #'s but I did find them on boats.net. The 85 # is 36Y-23340-00-00, the 92 # is
3XW-23340-00-00.
