Do you think these parts are really off an 89 FJ?

Looks like an FJ lower triple clamp to me, the forks of course not from an FJ. Some one parting out a modded FJ perhaps?

None of that fork came on an FJ.

Might have been on one at some point, but didn't come with one.

Pretty good BIN price, though, if it's straight.

Let us see, the top triple has a nice decal on it that has HONDA on it. Inverted forks make it a CBR929/954/1000/600RR or a RC51 depending on year.

The ECU is off any FI honda you would have to know the P/N

That seller also has listed a front m/c and calipers "for an '89 FJ" and the calipers are clearly marked Nissin - not any Yamaha part I've ever seen! LOL

But it is gonna be interesting to see what other bits turn up off that bike...

That is why I ask.  I have never heard, or seen, any Honda forks swaps to the FJ.  I have heard of Kawasaki and some Suzuki mods, but never Honda.

Randy,  I was thinking the same thing on the price, especially if all the modifications are done and you can simply install this on your bike.  But the wheel will be an issue, especially matching it to the rear wheel.

Thanks all.

I think its a misprint. He also has a clutch perch listed, that you can see is non hydraulic.

Some of these eBay sellers are just total idiots.

There's one guy who insists on listing "XT500" front brake master cylinders, and has been for at least 2-3 years.

Since I have a search set up for XT500 stuff, it keeps popping up.

I sent him a PM the first time or two it happened, but he just keeps on doing it.     :dash2:

Just another good reason to make absolutely sure you know what you are getting before you bid...

Yes, I noticed that as well.

Anyways,  nevermind, I contacted the lister and it is mislisted it is for a CBR954.  I just thought it would make doing the modification much easier if someone else had done all the work.  But then again the work is what makes modification so satisfying.
