2014 30 year anniversary for the FJ

Any interest in a centrally located rally in honor of the 30th anniversary of our beloved FJ? This is only a thought I had today while riding. I have no place in mind no date in mine. Just thought I'd throw it out there to see if there is interest. It would be great to get east, west, north and south people together.

Talking about the n/w corner of the state.
I would do something within a few hundred miles.I like to camp

My place, but only because there's plenty of parking/camping space, as long as you don't mind sharing with a few hundred wallabies everynight

I brought this up as a possible South Central Rally. Nobody has shown any interest in it. Very good motorcycling roads that are not heavily travelled by cars.

Well Fred we'll just have to keep it open for descussion. This winter maybe we can kick up some interest.

I live in SW Missouri and Branson is a great place to come for a FJ convention. Plenty of hotels, Beautiful Table Rock Lake and plenty of things to do and the roads are great. From twisty Ozark mountian roads, to nice highway cruising. Think about it. Just about in the middle of the country. I just did a 150 mile ride yesterday down to the lake and up through Branson and I am still smiling!

I think it's a good idea. Maybe East, West, and Central parties, I mean rallies. Three different dates, bragging rights to the crazies who make all three.

I would definitely go to  Branson Mo, or somewhere in Illinois. The 3 location idea sounds interesting.
